Transportation: The hotel is in a village, and there is a small road that will test your driving skills. The hotel is very close to the city, but like the road in Chongqing, there are several steep slopes. It was already tiring to walk around, and it was still a plateau. It was a bit uncomfortable for the elderly to have to walk up several steep slopes to get back to the hotel. 2. Room: The window is in the corridor and there is no soundproofing (a common problem in B&Bs. The boss kindly gave me a pair of earplugs). It was around 11 o'clock and the sound of talking was everywhere. Two men (it was so loud that I woke up and recorded a video). Sometimes it’s the couple next door, and sometimes it’s the children. They always wake up when they’re about to fall asleep, and they collapse.😫. There is no air conditioning in the room, and the window has a thin screen that cannot be closed tightly. Because the bed in the standard room is right next to the corridor window, there is no sense of security. If you force it to close tightly, it will be very stuffy. The curtains were not completely blackout (this is rare after staying in so many hotels and B&Bs). The light from outside came through all night, and then it got bright very early. After 6 o'clock, the curtains penetrated and the room became bright. I really didn't sleep well all night. I can only catch up on my drowsiness by riding in the car. In addition: I don’t know if the water in the shower room is during peak period, but it is suddenly big, small, cold and hot. The store owner enthusiastically helped us carry our luggage and turned on the oxygen supply for us in advance, which was very considerate. The weather turned fine the next day, and we arrived at Yuzixi smoothly and experienced the mysterious scenery of western Sichuan.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in such a good hotel on the first day of traveling with my family. The location of the hotel is easy to find, and shopping nearby is convenient. The environment is clean and tidy, and the lady at the front desk gave us free meals. We upgraded to a room type and was very welcoming. He also introduced us to fun and lively places nearby. Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

We ordered porcini mushrooms, which were picked by the boss early in the morning on the mountain. The hotel may not look like much from the outside, but the stay inside is really comfortable. , toilets, and curtains are all smart and cost-effective. I had a bit of high blood pressure there, and I felt a little out of breath when I walked. The store is equipped with a small oxygen concentrator, which is very considerate. The whole family was tired and rested very early. We didn't even have time to take pictures📷. I will stay here next time I have the opportunity to come here. Will also recommend to friends. Hostel is at a 5min walk from the busstation which is very conventient. It is quite a walk from there to the center of the city though. It was a bit difficult to find as the entrance is at the entrance of a different hotel and you have to go to the upper floor to enter the hostel. Female dormroom is quite small and there is almost no space to leave your luggage. The bedsheets weren't clean, and clearly used before. Plenty of toilets and showers available, which were quite clean. The family who runs the hostel is very kind but they don't seem to know much about activities such as hiking in the area. Wifi available in the common area. Okay for one or two nights.
