"Very nice stay. Staff were great. Breakfast and dinner included, which I enjoyed. I think this is worth it if you can get a deal via one of the booking sites, it's quite pricey compared to other more conveniently situated properties in Kandy. It's a very unique boutique hotel, beautiful and comfortable with great service. The only gripe I would have is the shower...it's a small hot water tank, so you can have a max 10 minute shower before the water runs cold. You then have to wait 10mins before the water heater heats the water back up. Other reviews complain about the noise from the road and rail track, but we didn't hear a single train during our 2 night stay and the road didn't bother us at all."

"The entrance to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is right there. It's a wonderful, long-established hotel. Both dinner and breakfast are buffets with a wide variety of food. The vintage elevator was also a nice experience. It seems I was given a room facing the pool. I didn't swim, but it was relaxing and pleasant. There was also a bar."
