Een prachtige locatie waar je alleen kan komen met een 4x4 of TukTuk! Dat maakt het al bijzonder! Charles (de manager) doet enorm zijn best het de gasten naar de zin te maken! En dat lukte meer dan!! Wij hebben een fantastische hike gedaan met Charles op Nuckles Mountains .... aanrader!! Wij hebben genoten van de natuur en even niks .... heerlijk!!! Tip: bezoekje aan de kruiden-farm! Klein maar leuk! ;) Wel iets kopen hoor.

Cabane dans la jungle. Attention pour l’eau chaude pour les douches, à demander à l’avance car il n’y en a pas toujours et si besoin ils vont chauffer de l’eau dans un bidon mais faut prévenir 1h à l’avance. Le cadre est superbe, digne de carte postale et l’immersion est totale. On vient vous chercher depuis la route principale en jeep car impossible d’y aller en voiture. Il y a des activités à faire comme la balade dans le village ou la baignade dans la rivière. Franchement un super endroit, pas d’hésitation si vous aimez la nature !

Nous sommes venu dans l’écologe pour faire une balade et un cooking class. Notre guide sur place Prosanna a été très accueillant, dans la jungle il n’a pas hésité à s’arrêter pour nous montrer les papillons, les arbres fruitiers comme le citronnier, le cacao, les pièces comme la muscade , le poivre … La cooking class était un excellent moment de partage et quel bonheur de déguster ce festin après

We stayed in one of the lodges for 2 days. The hosts were very accomodating and we had some nice chats with almost all of them. Even though we were the only guests (because it is off-season now) we never felt alone. We went on the waterfall hike with one of their guides and it was very nice and entertaining. Also the food was really good and the premise is very nice and eco-friendly. Furthermore we did a yoga class which is definitely good value for money. You should definitely stay here if you are in for a nice stay in nature and want to see the local surroundings.

The team at the Polwaththa Lodge was simply incredible - the hospitality was unmatched - from the kitchen staff, to the guides to the owners everyone did their absolute best to make our experience exceptional. The lodges are spread out so over the property that one feels like the only one in the jungle, the yoga shala is a nice 10 minute walk into the jungle as well so for every session it was pure serenity. our teacher Flavia was covering for Freya and she was such a perfect fit for our group of four girls consisting of 2 more advanced and two beginner yogis - she really took her time in every session to give us all the comfort and support needed and thanks to her i think we all now have an even better connection to our practice! The hike to the waterfall and through the villages and also the cooking classes were absolute highlights and the food we got to eat every evening was simply amazing - you are really spoiled for choice at the lodge!! I can only recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area around Kandy - no matter if for an actual retreat or simply for a unique accommodation. Dear Polwaththa Team - I WILL BE BACK!!

Superbe endroit dans la forêt On est accueillis par des personnes très sympathiques La balade de 6 km pour aller à la cascade est vraiment à faire Le guide Charles donne toutes les explications nécessaire sur les différentes plantes et arbres se trouvant sur notre parcours

Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt im Dschungel. Die Häuschen sind einfach und zweckmäßig schön eingerichtet. Umgeben ist man nur von Dschungelgeräuschen. Danke, Charles, für den spannenden Ausflug in den Urwald, zur Schule und zum erfrischenden Wasserfall! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Dieser Aufenthalt war reiner Balsam für meine Seele. Freyas Yogasessions waren wundervoll, sie ist so eine bezaubernde Person und der Ort magisch. Das ganze Team ist so liebenswürdig ＜3 Ich würde am liebsten länger bleiben und komme definitiv wieder!

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits au Polwathethe Eco Lodge avec notre fille de 10 ans. L’accès se fait en 4x4 pour s’y rendre, l’endroit est pittoresque et c’est ce que nous recherchions. La cabane était parfaite, même si la première nuit a été mouvementée avec le bruit de la pluie mais c’est le principe de l’immersion en pleine jungle. Nous avons participé à un cours de cuisine avec Summi et ce fut le mieux de notre périple ! La philosophie du staff pour l’environnement et l’écoresponsabilité est à saluer 👍 et encore merci à notre guide pour la sortie réalisée, souvenirs à jamais gardés dans nos esprits 🙏🤩 Ayubowan.
