HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE It is unfortunate that I have to write this review for Green Cocunut,..well situated in the ECR, closer to my daughter wedding venue Dakshin Chitra, and it so happened it just turneda NIGHTMARE for me. We almost booked the entire property for the wedding weekend and it turned sore and disgusting experience. 1. LIFT WAS NOT WORKING- we booked 24 deluxe rooms for elders in family and relatives and they were forced to climb with luggage to upper floors. Despite the manager Charles telling it will be rectified, nothing happened till the guests left. False promises only added fuel to the fire 2. FLUSH Not working in few rooms. Nightmare for guests to realize that flush is not working after the bathroom usage. They had to carry water from Washbain for toilet usage which turned horrible 3. AC Not working - 2 rooms had AC issues and it was not fixed despite repeated requests 4. HOT WATER NOT AVAILABLE. We paid more that 5k per night for all rooms and the solar water heater went for a toss and my guests ended up in cold water on the wedding day. It was super bad experence 5. BUGS found in Bed: Atleast 3 rooms reported bugs in the bed which could have turned a mess had the guests suffered any bites 6. BIG NO NO Issue- One of our elderly guests requested for an additional bed and they simply went and put the same using the duplicate key as my guests were at the reception. Tresspassing into the hotel room in absence of guests is a sure NO NO. The guests had silk sarees, jewels and bags in the room and they were shocked to note that someone entered when they were away and had something gone missing, it would have been a mess. They dont even know who went and the security is a big issue I made a mistake of booking this place for one of the best events of our lives and I regret. In case you are looking for this place, please be aware and dont end up paying so much for a place that is not worthy. Greenary, the ambience, and location is great,..but service is the worst. I regret writing this even for it just made me so anxious during the wedding taking care of the guests. NOT WORTH the Money I paid!!!!

I booked this place for 3 days but ended up staying just for a day due to mosquito attack. Staff is very polite and they have best manager who will go out of the way to support any requests you have. Manager arranged mosquito nets for my elder parents so that they can sleep in peace. Breakfast is a Joke and bread butter/Jam and corn flakes were put in display. No fresh cooked item and no efforts put in on breakfast. The view from room 101 was fantastic and full moon had a beautiful reflection in sea. Pool was very clean and inviting. I was charged for early checkout but it is fine. It is a beautiful property with great staff worthy of money you spend.

Location of the hotel is very good. Food was delicious. Well maintained property with modern amenities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms was spotlessly cleaned. GGuest UserMe and Wife spent hours searching for a good clean place to stay and this time we did not want to stay at 5 Star hotel. We got frustrated looking at numerous reviews. Then we narrowed down to Oceanside after we read a review asking people to stop searching. I am so so happy with the room. I booked the room 207 and at arrival i was apprehensive but then after entering the room. I was so assured by seeing the White Clean Sheets (Stain Free) and very very Clean Bathroom and very good slope in the bathing area. I got all that i was looking for: - White crisp Bedsheet - Crisp Pillow Cover And Spotless Blanket Wonderful AC and plenty of Hot Water. For food take a 2 min walk to reach some nice restaurants and again a 3-4 min walk to beach and on return a tap to clean sand off your body and clothes. The stairs may be a concern for senior citizens. They don't serve food but we had planned to eat outside. The owner Jaymesh (?) Was available and very helpful. The young *** on front desk ”Dinesh” is a polite and efficient and the cleaning ladies are sweet. Well spoken . Cons: - No Intercom( that's ok)

PPraveenKrishnaI highly recommend this place for families with children. The location is excellent and the ambience is extraordinary. The resort's theme is Rajasthani and is very well-maintained. The hospitality and food are good, although there are a lot of flies, which can be a bit bothersome. The resort has a swimming pool suitable for children of all ages, but please be cautious as the pool area can get slippery. The resort also offers daily programs which are posted near the reception area to keep everyone entertained. It's not just a place to stay for the night, but a great spot to spend quality time with your family and relax.

The location is right in the middle of the town in a main thorough fare, in close proximity to the Temples for those who visit on a pilgrimage to Kanchipuram. The access to the location though, as also visibility from the road leaves room for improvement. Food was delicious and great, and the free breakfast had an elaborate big spread. The courtesy of the staff who are always checking up on you and asking you how's your stay and dining experience deserves a special mention. All in all, a great facility to have in Kanchipuram that makes staying there comfortable and worry free.

Staff in restaurant very busy and it was difficult to get attention sometimes. First meal we had was not a good experience but this was handled well and chef prepared a lovely meal next night and waiter was very attentive.
Location and setting cannot be faulted it was very relaxing and beach was deserted!
Will go back for longer stay next time and explore surrounding areas.

After our pathetic stay in Annamalai International Hotel in Puducherry (please read my review in tripadvisor) we get fresh air in this hotel. We were 3 (2 adult +1 child) and booked a Suite. It was very spacious with 2 double bed, 2 AC, 1 sofa set, 1 table, 1 cupboard, 1 TV. There was a 6 ft mirror in bathroom. Overall very good. It had a homely vibe. We felt very comfortable cannot explain why. That was the vibe. They did not have hindi channels in TV. As we requested immediately they made arrangements & took subscription. We were very happy. This is called customer friendly. Again when we asked them to arrange cab for Chennai airport they suggested to book OLA as it will be cheaper & will be available within 2 min. They told ”if we call cab they charge Rs200 extra”. We are totally impressed by their behaviour. Two things I did not like: 1) The swimming pool is just at the entrance. It feels very awkward. Whoever enters the hotel can see people bathing. 2) The toiletries provided were very basic (clinic plus, lifebuoy...) 3) For suite room they didnt provide electric kettle, tea, coffee pouch etc. These are to be improved. In spite of this I would recommend this hotel as it is very good, considering the price they offer

GGuest UserThe staff is really cheerful and helpful. The rooms are always kept clean. The in-house restaurant has huge options in breakfast. The swimming pool is also kept clean. The decor is kept tidy in the vicinity. The hotel is at prime location: near to mahabalipuram bust stand, close to the beach (approx 500 mtrs. The reception has simple and authentic decor with lord ganesha's little temple besides. All in all, a excellent stay with affordable prices (courteous staff adds one more star on their ratings.

NNorwichHudsonWe had a short 2 night stay here whilst visiting the temples. Nice little guesthouse on a road stuffed full of them. Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The bed was fine and the A/C worked well in the room we had. There is a cafe/central area at the end of the building on the first floor that was a nice area to sit and read or relax. We only ate one breakfast there of a small omelette which was OK. Can't really comment on the rest of the food as we didn't have any. What I would say is that here, ***** with all of the surrounding area, are very specifically targeted towards tourists/travellers. The food that they serve and the prices they they charge all reflect this. If you want much better, cheaper Indian food, head to the small road to the left of the bus station and go 25m down there for an excellent place Mamalla Bhavan??). My only negative (hence 4 stars) was that they simply couldn't get the Internet working for us at all. They tried for 3 days, and even gave us the next door guesthouse and the cafe wifi, but they all kept disappearing. Maybe not their fault, but I could get the WiFi signal from the 2 guesthouses opposite the whole time. Not a big issue, but as we were trying to book future hotels, just a bit of a pain.
