Guesthouse Nagonde
4.3/56 Reviews
This is the kind of homestay where many people live together. There is only a separate space for three people, and the rest are public facilities. The hotel’s location is about 10-15 minutes away from the station. In a street full of restaurants, the convenience store is far away, but the izakaya next to it is very characteristic. There are more locals, the owner is very enthusiastic, and a large conch is also presented. . The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic, and patiently help us guide the way. It may be that we are used to living in an environment with a separate bathroom, but feel that the private space is too small and inconvenient. There is nothing in the room except the quilt. We are not used to it and can only go out and stroll around. If you don’t mind these, language communication is barrier-free, and those willing to interact with locals, you can choose here.
Sararaso

I made a reservation for my daughter's university entrance examination for 2 nights and 3 days, but I decided to make an additional reservation for one night later and used it for 3 nights and 4 days. Since the room scheduled for 2 nights was not available, I was planning to use another room for 1 nights, but I adjusted it and stayed in the same room for 3 days. My daughter was nervous about staying alone and taking the exam, but she was willing to accept the request for a wake-up call, and on the way home, she wrote ”Please come back to play again.” I am grateful for the warm hospitality such as accompanying me. Thank you. I would like to use it again.
Kanazawa Share House Gaooo
4.6/513 Reviews
GAOoo~Super heart-warming homestay! In order to be able to get the dog, regardless of the price, regardless of the location, this homestay was set, and it proved to be worth the money! Because I spent a little longer in Shirakawago, the time to Kanazawa was greatly delayed, and it was almost 11 o'clock when I arrived at the guesthouse. It should be a direct bus from Kanazawa Station to Higashi Chaya Street, but it was too late and even the bus was gone. After a short 30-minute walk on the road in Kanazawa, I finally found it. It is an ordinary family located in a residential area, and the entrance is not easy to recognize. I was embarrassed to rang the doorbell and quarreled the landlord and the landlord’s wife. However, their attitude is still very kind and friendly, and they also gave me a detailed explanation of the various facilities in the room and how to use it. The shower room is at the entrance, and it is still a bit cold to walk outside from the air-conditioned room at night. Bath towels are provided. The landlord lives on the first floor, while the tourists live on the second floor, with two rooms. However, I was the only one who checked in that day, so there is no need to think about sharing the room with others. Breakfast on the second day can be added for 300 yen, with salad, bread, tea or coffee. The amount is quite adequate. The experience of having breakfast in a Japanese home is really great! If the dog gets up early enough, it seems that I can go for a walk with the hostess, but I missed it. GAOoo is a 6 and a half years old (early 2020) male Shiba Inu, quite docile and not afraid of living. During breakfast, he looked at my bananas and whimpered, which is so cute! ! ! As the ”sales manager” of the hotel, the landlord will bring GAOoo out and watch the guests leave together. It is very warm. Just arranging for a day in Kanazawa is really not enough, I will definitely come to Kanazawa again, and I will definitely come back to GAOoo again!
Kanazawa Guesthouse Stella
4.6/58 Reviews
I absolutely loved Stella! It was my first time in Kanazawa and I definitely made the right choice. Shuji-san was so helpful and lovely. I rented his nice bike and cruised around the whole city and all the way to the beach (he gave me a great map filled with local spots to check out) and he recommended a great jazz bar which I ended up seeing an amazing performance and he sent me over to a weird neon-ceiling'd onsen, which i loved. Perfect location, a room all to myself (after sleeping at hostels, it's a dream to have some solo space) and just steps away from Higashi Chiya. Definitely will stay again if when I return. Thanks Shuji!
Yunode Ryokan

The inn in Kanazawa's inner parlor was calm and I was able to relax. I have been here four times over the past 25 years. Our room was comfortable even for a regular room. After all, the food was delicious, and the soup stock or gentle taste soaked into my body. Kaga vegetable dishes, sukiyaki and hair crab were also delicious. My 5-year-old niece had a children's lunch, but she ate more than she would at home. I was delighted with the fried shrimp. Coffee is free and there is a machine in the hallway, and it was nice to be able to drink freely in capsules. Mr. Nakai was also quick-witted and responded well. The baths for men and women change every other day, but the open-air bath was on the second day. The one with the open-air bath that I entered in the morning was larger and very nice, so I wanted to take a bath at night if possible. I will come again. This time, I went to celebrate my sister-in-law's recovery, so I was glad that she said that she was very healed.
Kanazawa Station Hotel
3.7/550 Reviews
It should be conveniently located about 10 minutes from Kanazawa station, but it is difficult to understand it because it is a little complicated. The facilities themselves seemed to have been recovered recently and were new, but there are high buildings around and there is not much sun. However, it is enough to stay. It is also good to be close to OMI Cho market.
