I stayed here because I was traveling to a live concert and the venue, Hondanomori Hall, was within walking distance (just over 20 minutes), but it also had good access to sightseeing and a convenience store nearby, so the location was convenient.
The bathroom was clean, the room was spacious enough for one person, and I had no trouble staying there.

All the hotel staff were very helpful. It was close to Oyama Shrine, and we could easily go from Oyama Shrine to Kanazawa Castle Park to see the lights. It was in a good location. We got a twin room and a single room. They were next to each other. It didn't have a card key. The door knob didn't turn well, so it was a bit difficult to open and close. I pushed it in and closed it. The closet door made a strange noise. It was a bit old, but the bathroom was clean. For breakfast, the staff brought us scrambled eggs and salad. Everything else was served on a small plate. We didn't need tongs, so it was smooth. We ate a little at a time and it was delicious. It was made with ingredients from Kanazawa, so adults were pretty satisfied.

I always like to re-read the reviews before posting my own, and I have to say I wonder if we stayed in a different hotel as our room was fabulous. We arrived during Golden Week and had to leave the Nikki hotel as the prices there doubled the following 2 nights. I can only assume that the Prestige had no rooms left when we turned up late, and therefore upgraded us. Our room was huge with the largest bed we've ever had in Japan. The bathroom was equally impressive and the nespresso machine just added that touch. We were really surprised by the quality of the room as this was the only room we could find at a resonable price. Just hope that whoever reads this gets an equally good room as the pictures listed by other reviewers are so different to what we experienced.
