When our Chairman wanted to visit kamakhya his only requirement was an accommodation close enough to the temple with a good view of the temple premise. Shreemoyee inn was referred to us by a panditji and true to his promises, the rooms have the most convincing view of MA’S magnificent abode. The staff at the inn are very courteous and helpful. They accommodated special cooking requests to align with vraths and healthy eating choices. The inn is just a stone’s throw distance from the temple which makes them one of the finest, clean and comfortable stay options at Kamakhya.

Perfect
Excellent hotel in Paltan Bazar, in the heart of Guwahati city. We got this hotel booking done thru MMT, unsure of the services as there was no review on Trip advisor. However the staying experience was great. It's a new hotel on the main road. Room size was good, very clean bathroom with 24hrs hot water, clean and comfortable bed/pillows/blanket. We got complementary breakfast, simple menu like cornflakes, toast n egg, poori-sabzi and tea/coffee. Staffs were nice and helpful.
Kkaruneshmittal_12It was a very bad experience. We went for our work in the morning requesting for room clean but in evening the room was in shabbles. No one bothered to attend the room. Moreover they started blaming us that we did not requested for room clean whereas we had specific instructions for room clean towel change. But they did not. Tyry do not even hda courtesy to say sorry. They fid not started the geneartor when there was no current. The intervom instrument was not working. Breakfast was cold and pathetic. No soap only hand wash for all things. All In all a oyo type product. Pathetic people.
AADuwarahGinger guwahati is my go to hotel whenever I visit guwahati. The staff are very courteous and mindful. Property is clean and well maintained and spacious. Food menu is also now offering good choices compared to my last visit.
If I could give them -5 I would give them -5. Where to start from. It was nothing less than an ordeal staying in this hotel. We took 2 rooms one king bed and another twin bed. First of all I would like to mention that all the rooms and bathrooms in this property are differently shaped and designed making each room look bad to worse. One room is either bigger than the other or smaller than the other inspite of being same category rooms. Secondly most of the rooms have a broken bed, and you have to trust me on this as because of this reason they made me change the room almost 5 times. The last room that was allotted to me had a faulty ac and it took them almost 5 hours to again shift my room and I was sweating out in this hot humid weather in their room with and ac that doesn't work and no fan or cooler. It's about to be 2 am and I am still awake in my 6th room because the ac in my room isn't working and after complaining to them they have surrendered saying other rooms aren't in a condition to be given and no one can fix the ac hence they will provide me with a fan and a cooler. Now the scene in my room is I have a noisy fan and a cooler leaking water and my room literally flooded with water. Last but not least, I had gone for site seeing in Guwahati today and while my way back I had ordered a dish in the restaurant an hour and a half before I reached the hotel and requested them to prepare it before I reached the hotel as my 11 year old son was very hungry. I have 3 reminder calls too for the same and while I reached the hotel neither was my order ready nor did they have an excuse for not doing so... This has been my experience in this hotel in the past 2 days. I really have my sympathies with people who will still choose to stay in this hotel despite all the odds in favour of this hotel. All in all in my view this hotel is worse than even a cheap motel.
RrajivwelikalaThis has to be the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my years of travel and working in the travel industry. I booked this hotel for myself , my boss and 9 clients for 1 night after our tour in Kaziranga, to spend the night and take the flight back to Sri Lanka via Delhi the next day. Oh boy where we in for a surprise. The hotel is not even a 2 star hotel in my opinion, the toilets were so old and basic it was shocking. Even our old wildlife department bungalows in Yala and Wilpattu had better toilets. It was that bad. The toilet seats were dirty and the cisterns were old plastic ones which were not working properly and the toilet seat was in peaices. The overall toilets were terrible. The rooms were also old and not well maintained. One of the clients complained the sheets looked like used and not washed. When I went to the shower there was no hot water, and when I called the reception they were asking me “sir do you want hot water? Shall I turn the main switch on then? “ and I was in shock. Also the Wifi as well they do several “mgyver” type of mechanical operations by the hotel maintenance to get working. We were worried stepping into dinner what the clients would say. Dinner was excellent and very tasty. But there also we had an issue. We clearly gave each order one by one with each room number to bill to. End of the service the waitress came with all in one bill and we told her to put each iteam ordered room wise like we asked before. She gave an annoyed expression and made a rude gesture towards my client. My boss Athif was with us, and he got very angry. Then she said she will make the bills an come to get them signed. The clients waited over 3o mins and no bills were coming. Then when we asked she casually said she will give it at checkout tomorrow, when the clients have been waiting tired and sleepy for over 30 mins expecting this to come which she said shes giving. My boss and myself immediately asked to speak to the ***ager, who came sheepishly and listened and apologized to us, but we wanted them to personally apologize to clients the next day which he agreed (but later never did and hid from us whole of the next day). Then the best part started when at night the power went off at around 2.30 AM and my boss Athif went down in the middle of the night 3 flights of stairs to check whats wrong and to see the hotel wiring something has happened and they were fixing, it, not the main power nor the generator issue, and he went up and down twice 3 flights of stairs to check with me in the middle of the night breaking out rest and sleep to see this issue, and so embarrassed that the clients will protect on this. The Power came back only at 6.30 AM. This by far is the worst hotel experience I have had in my career and I am deeply upset that we even put our clients in this place. Given this embarrassment we ended up paying the dinner bills of the guests as well to co****sate for all these issues. The clients said the whole trip was grea
GGuest User1. The receptionist were badly dress, un iron clothes, very shabby looking, not at all groom, the toilet doesn't have shampoo or handwash, only one small soap was given. The room was okay. The breakfast included was a punishment, limited option given, if we have bread and ****er we can't take anything else
