"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Initially, I did not expect such a high level of cleanliness and comfort, but I was genuinely satisfied. The counter staff were very helpful, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was clean, including both the bed and toilet, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Another great convenience is that there are many Chinese food stalls located downstairs, making it easy to find meals nearby. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the room lighting. The lights were quite dim, and it would be better if at least one brighter light could be installed instead of having all lamps with soft lighting."

"A wonderful stay for a special occasion! We were in town for our son's graduation and found the Grand Kampar Hotel to be very convenient. The room was spacious enough for the family to get ready in our formal attire, and the air conditioning was nice and cold—perfect for the Malaysian weather. Checking in and out was fast. We’ll definitely stay here again if we visit Kampar!"

"The room was clean, instructions for self check-in was detailed, clear & easy to check-in. View from room is great! But we were disappointed that only 2 beds had bedsheets eventhough requested for 3 beds. The other single bed did not have a bedsheet on it. The pillow case had a discomforting smell. Areas for improvement: Toilet roll was not really sufficient as almost ran out. Should at least provide 2 full rolls. There was no shampoo provided, only body wash."

"It’s next to Newtown and has great access. Getting around Kampar can be difficult without a car, but you can go to restaurants and supermarkets by foot. Many places stay open late, which is really convenient. You can also have breakfast at a restaurant about a two-minute walk away. but, the room didn’t have enough lighting and felt quite dark and room is quite cramped. Also, check-in may take a bit longer for foreign guests."

"It was a great stay. Comfortable room within the town area of Kampar, all within a limited hotel budget. Although the corridor was a bit narrow, it was understandable as it allowed for more rooms to be accommodated. The ambient lighting in the room was bright, making it suitable for work, study, or relaxation. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience throughout the stay. Roadside public parking, where parking coupon is needed."

"There was only one trash can, there should have been one in each of the two bathrooms and one in the main room. Overall, everything else was fine."

"The room is old and smelly. Near to main road, it's noisy making it hard for us to sleep. Furthermore, someone or 'something' in the next room kept dragging the chair throughout the night"
