We stayed here on our way from Kampala to Nairobi. It is conveniently located right down the road from the Mash POA bus station.
We also had breakfast included and it was fantastic. In addition to the items put out, we were asked if we wanted to order anything else specifically from the kitchen.
We also booked the most affordable rate that included AC and were surprised with a suite and an entirely second room with 3 couches.

The hotel is rated 8.2. This is not possible compared to Speke Hotel 7.2. The location of the hotel is bad and difficult to reach. It is on a main road and is very noisy. The hotel is relatively new, but not in good condition. (Floor tiles rattle, brackets are loose, most of the lightbulbs in the room are broken, and much more). It has no outdoor facilities. The restaurant is nothing more than a canteen in a fairly small interior. There are a number of menus on the menu, but many are often unavailable. Breakfast is sparse, "real" coffee costs extra, only Nescafe is free.

A nice hotel located on a busy road in Kampala. Stay was worth the value of money. Very spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast was also good. The location is near the palace of the Buganda King, a walking distance. Definitely recommended on your stay in Kampala.

Really nice super friendly staff. I'll start with that. Including the manager who offered to provide any help I might need getting around the city and the doorman who literally walked me to where I needed to go the next day. Great price. Good food. Room was fine. Beer came with a frosted glass - I shouldn't forget to mention that. That says it all.
