A great hotel in Kamakura that’s close to the center of everything. Right in town, yet the rooms were nice & quiet. Hotel manager was fluent in English, so it’s very foreigner-friendly. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in town.

Although the hotel itself has a Showa-era feel, it is conveniently located just two minutes from the station and right in front of the approach to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. What's more, the meal plan includes Chinese food from Yamashita Hanten, located on the first basement floor of the hotel. All of the dinner courses were excellent. It seems to be a Chinese restaurant loved by locals, so you can't go wrong with the food. For breakfast, you can choose from Chinese porridge, Japanese food, or Western food at the same restaurant, and the Japanese food is surprisingly delicious, so I recommend it!
