Our holiday at Kodev was a very relaxing and secluded experience. You get picked up by speed boat from the pick up point (which is also a small fishing harbour). A quick 5 minute boat ride and you arrive at Kodev. It's a beautiful sight when approaching the property from the lagoon. We stayed in one of the 3 tents at the property. The tent had its own private bathroom with hot water and all the required amenities. The bathroom has blinders but they can also be opened for a great view of the bush jungle behind the tent. The bed in the tent had a mosquito net which helped keep the mosquitoes at bay at night. There's a small private beach in front of the property. We loved hanging out here, especially in the evening. Best location to catch a great sunset. There's also a small pier which they light up with lanterns every night. Food is served at their restaurant / dining area. The team organised a seafood grill for us one night right next to the pier. There was quite an array of seafood - from huge tiger prawns to cuttlefish to fresh fish just off the boat. We certainly loved the fresh seafood at Kodev. The rice and curry was also a treat! In terms of activities there are a bunch on offer including kite-surfing (if it's in season). We went dolphin watching instead which was wonderful. You start first thing in the morning and spend a couple hours out at sea. Getting to see the playful dolphins up close was quite phenomenal. Best time for this activity is between October and end-March. However, be mindful that too many boats are also a hazard for the dolphins so the wild life department regulates the number of boats out at sea at any given time. Great service overall by the Kodev team led by Mr Aruna! We loved the seclusion and the isolation the property offers. Thanks again for the great hospitality.
