Home2 Suites by Hilton Kalamazoo Downtown

The staff especially Darrell and Dallas went above and beyond to help us out. We originally only booked one night and wanted to stay another night. The hotel was sold out but they worked their magic. Not only did we get another night we did not have to change rooms.

Our firm stayed here with our clients for a three-week case. We had a large block of rooms, clients coming and going, and it was pretty chaotic. Home2Suites staff made everything easy to make changes, comfortable, and they were amazing. The hotel was clean and convenient. The business center was very convenient, and the exercise room had all the equipment you needed. I highly recommend using this hotel for your next block of rooms stay! You will not be disappointed. We were SPOILED!

Excellent location, clean and updated rooms and comfortable beds. Love how family friendly this hotel is, added bonus close to restaurants, WMU campus the most pleasant and efficient staff. Breakfast was amazing. We have already booked another reservation at this location.

I was in Kalamazoo for a conference at WMU; this was our "official" hotel. H2S is really a "two for" as it is adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn, which you'll pass through to get to your vehicle or the restaurant/bar (the Marketpace in the HGI is a little bigger and has more variety, but I digress). It's also locked down tighter than Fort Knox, which I appreciated as a solo traveler, but it's a bit confusing at first as there is no signage that indicates you need a room key to enter the skywalk from the parking garage (an employee happened by and took pity on me standing there with my suitcase looking sad and swiped me in). Room was clean and good sized, and included a full size fridge, microwave, dishes and tableware, and a pull out dining table that hides under the counter when not needed or doubles as a desk. About an hour after I checked out I could not find my laptop charger and returned to the hotel thinking I'd left it in the bed. God bless your front desk agent Durrell (Darrell? Not sure of the spelling). He walked me back up to the room to help search for it. We didn't find it and I was practically in tears as my presentation was later in the afternoon, but he was reassuring and promised me he'd have housekeeping look out for it. Much to my relief and embarrassment after a more thorough search of my trunk I found it in the bottom of a bag of dirty clothes. I called him back to let him know. He was such a good sport and we had a good laugh. Overall I had a great experience at this property and wish I could have enjoyed more of its features or explored downtown. This was my first stay but it won't be my last!

I just love this hotel. We always stay at the Home2 when we are in the area to visit our daughter. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean. They have the cutest lobby. We just love it. Martha takes great pride in her work and is always excited to see us.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds and pillows extremely comfortable. We couldn't hear anyone else on our floor. I love home 2 and this one was no exception!

The hotel was up-to-date and clean. It was near the downtown, but I did feel a little unsettled walking around due to the homeless people walking around.
