Hotels Near Yinshi Laotiancheng Museum of New Year Pictures in Kaifeng

My husband and I took our wheelchair-bound mother to Kaifeng for a trip and stayed in this hotel for six days. Before we set off, we received a call from the hotel, saying that they had reserved a room for us. What touched me most was that it was already past 11 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the hotel. The proprietress and the front desk waiter had been waiting for us. When they saw us get off the car, the proprietress and the girls at the front desk enthusiastically arranged and helped with the luggage. At the same time, a cup of hot tea was handed to us. Drinking a cup of hot tea and listening to the wonderful Henan accent made us feel warm in our hearts! The front desk quickly checked in, and soon we said goodnight! The hotel's breakfast was a familiar home-cooked meal, with sweet potatoes, pumpkins, fried dough sticks, buns, flower rolls, jujube cakes, steamed dumplings, eggs, fried noodles, a few stir-fried vegetables, a few cold dishes, wontons, milk, soy milk, and coffee. It was very comfortable to eat. The hotel room is fully equipped with a single bed and a double bed, which is just right for the three of us to sleep. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are sunny, and we sit in front of the window to drink tea, watching the busy streets with people coming and going, and experiencing the fireworks of the ancient capital of Kaifeng. The hotel staff is very good. If you have any needs, they are solved immediately with just a phone call. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant or room cleaning, the service staff always greets you with a smile and provides warm service, making us feel at home and as touched as if we had met family.

Superb services. The receptionist are very friendly and answers to my questions very promptly. The rooms are clean and quite modern, central heating was just nice. The water heaters are great, they have dry and wet bathrooms as well. The housekeepers will ask you if you need any anything since we don’t really like housekeeping. The breakfasts were standard. Location is good, quite near walking distances to various attractions. We had an enjoyable stay there.

If you are going to stay in Kaifeng, stay here! This was one of our best hotel experiences in China. The staff could not have been more accommodating, the room was fantastic, and we got a great night’s sleep. We weren’t able to turn off the heat, but that might have been our issue. Also didn’t see any room service options, but again, that might have been our lack of mandarin. We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for a total of 7 nights during this trip: 2 nights at Kaifeng Dichen, 2 nights at Luoyang Kaiyuan, 2 nights at Xi'an Bell Tower, and 1 night at Zhengzhou Longzi Lake. I feel that the price/performance ratio is very good, especially the location where land is at a premium. I bought a special coupon at the Xi'an Bell Tower store for only 300 yuan a night. Each store provides free breakfast for children. My baby is over 160cm tall. The Luoyang and Zhengzhou stores also upgraded to a 35-square-meter room. The facilities in the Kaifeng store are very new, the breakfast is rich, and the haggis soup is particularly delicious. It feels good to stay here, like it 👍

The room is very large, with two large beds, one 1.8 meters and one 1.5 meters tall, which greatly solves the problem of two small beds sharing a standard room for a family of three. The facilities are complete and the laundry room on the third floor is great. The waiter was very welcoming. There is a Xinjiang restaurant next door. The mutton-based dishes are delicious and plentiful.

It is very close to the Drum Tower. It is more convenient to go downstairs to eat and drink. However, the hotel room facilities are average and the projector will suddenly stop running. When I started watching it at night, there was no problem. Later, the child took off the room card and turned on the projector again and it showed that it stopped running. I don’t know how I can watch it again after adjusting it for a long time. After shutting it down normally before going to bed, I can’t watch it when I turn it on in the morning. No matter how I adjust it, it always shows that it has stopped running. Although half of the window is a wall, the wall is at least 1.8 meters high, with insufficient light and ventilation. The bathroom is also extremely small, and there is obvious scale on the sink faucet and bathroom faucet. If it weren't for the holidays, the price of this room would be around two hundred...

Fantastic location near night Market and temple. Night view room is worth it (overlooking drum tower). Room was clean and had great features. Ac and light controls were in english, helpful for me. Check in and check out we're a bit messy/hectic since there was no visible way to queue and people rushed the desk. Staff were helping multiple guests at same time taking IDs from anyone that offered. Also when we asked staff how far train station was they neglected to tell us there were two train stations. Fortunately, our didi driver clarified.

I would rate this hotel as average. Disappointed that no one at the registration desk spoke English. Room had a lovely view (12th floor) but wallpaper was torn and patched with large stickers. I had to ask for our room to be tidied (dump trash, fresh towels, more water bottles). Ladies at the breakfast buffet where very nice and welcoming -- knew basic English. The location is decent -- close to many restaurants, snack street/night market. Easy to get Didi or Taxi. Probably would not stay there again.

It is adjacent to the Songyuan Soup Dumpling Shop, about 400 meters away on foot, where you can enjoy Kaifeng specialties. Environment: The hotel is very new, the rooms are large and bright, and the room facilities are complete (the first time I encounter a non-family suite, there will be lockers), dry and wet separation, intelligent switch, air conditioner without noise, bath water volume and pressure The water temperatures are all very good. 3. The zero-pressure mattress is very comfortable to sleep on, and the sound insulation of the room is also good. You can basically sleep soundly all night (very sensitive friends are recommended to prepare a pair of ear plugs) 4. Service: There is a self-service laundry room that provides laundry detergent. The front-loading washing machine is new and has a drying function, so it is not too convenient. There was also a small gift (Kaifeng snacks) upon check-out. It was a rainy day, and the lady at the hotel front desk also prepared a raincoat. Finally, we must vigorously promote the city of Kaifeng. The tourist attractions have a great experience, rich projects, and clean toilet facilities. The most valuable thing is that the price of food inside the scenic spot is basically the same as outside! The taxi driver is also very enthusiastic and fair. Every Kaifeng person I meet is enthusiastic and sincere. I like Kaifeng and will definitely come again!
