My family and friends stayed at Marriott's Maui Ocean Club for 5 weeks over Christmas, New Year's and into mid- January. We had one unit for 3 weeks and 2 units for a week each. All of our rooms were clean, well maintained and functional. The staff was very helpful as we changed rooms and they stored our groceries for us. The hot tubs and community kitchen were closed due to covid which is understandable. The beach chairs were socially distanced and cleaned quickly after people left. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. The best example of this was Marynor, she found my new pair of sunglasses which I must have lost getting out of the car in the parking ramp and turned them in. I was thrilled to get them back because I figured I lost them and whoever found them would keep them. This was my 7th stay at the Marriott, my favorite place to stay on Maui and I will definitely return. Mahalo to the Maui Marriott team and especially Marynor for another amazing vacation.

The room provided by this hotel is very large, and the kitchen inside has everything you need. You can cook together as a family. There is no surcharge. You only need to submit a deposit of 150 yuan and a daily tax of 9.23 US dollars. The front desk service is very good and the stay is very comfortable. In the morning, a free breakfast is provided at the gate, explaining the main tourist attractions of the Big Island. If you are full or don’t want to listen, you can travel according to your own plan. Everyone is very relaxed. There is no service such as strong recommendation. In short, it is good and recommended to stay!

Overall the hotel is very nice. A little disappointed in the parking situation. Twice had to drive around in 2 separate lots to find parking in self park. Upon greeting, there was no staff to offer to bring up our luggage, so we schlepped our luggage to the room ourselves . The ”Spa” was not so much a Spa but a massage parlor. There are separate amenities for men and women. Just one small hot tub and steam room in women's locker room. Far from a Spa. Other than those issues, the room was very nice and big and the hotel itself has a nice ambiance. Nice pool options but could be more umbrella seats at the pool that actually provide shade. The breakfast buffet was decent, but definitely not worth $35 a person. Overall liked my stay, but those little things could have made the experience 5 stars

Not a friendly solo experience with Westin Ocean Villas North. It’s quite apparent the resort caters to families only even though they have studio rooms like the one I was in this time. Didn’t get the Aloha Spirit I’ve received with my family in the past 25 years being an owner. The jacuzzi bathtub in the rooms are Not cleaned properly so beware of that and just skip getting in them. I ran a tub and the jacuzzi jets turned on spewing black gunk out of the jets. House keeping doesn’t clean inside the jets or clean the filter. Heath Hazard. I’m sad to say, after 25 years we will not return to Lahaina again. Too expensive to really enjoy yourself when it’s so commercialized here in Lahaina. Aloha

We stayed five nights at Honua Kai. The exterior grounds were well kept though the pool was cloudy on more than one day. I’d say the pool was average+ compared to others I’ve visited. Hotel was on the beach so it was nice to have that as an alternate swimming option- awesome views too! Barely any drink waiters around the pool which wasn’t a huge deal but gives you an idea of the level of service available. We didn’t have room service the entire time we were there which was annoying. Maybe that’s the new norm post-Covid but it would’ve been helpful with five people in a room. And honestly, it’s a cheap way out for hotels IMO. Fitness room was over 80 degrees. There were only large fans; no A/C in half the gym. There was one yoga mat for the entire room. One day I went in, there were no water cups. Just felt the overall attention to interior maintenance was average at best. The place is massive. Half are condos and half are rentals. Nice space available in the rooms for families. Having the kitchen and two bathrooms was a bonus. Average, clean rooms with nice views. In a scale of stars, Id give it a solid 4. Nothing special, but clean and good for families.

Napili Sunset is right on Napili Bay. There is a well tended lawn with beach chairs between the units and the sand. The office gives your group beach towels that you may exchange for clean ones. Our party had 2 cars, but we are allowed one parking space per unit. However, the woman who checked us in( very friendly and helpful) explained how to park on the street with the second car. We never had a problem parking either car the whole week- even on the weekend. Our room was upstairs with a loft. There is no ac but ceiling fans and floor fans. We were all very comfortable and appreciated the louvered windows and trade winds for cooling. Everything we needed for cooking was stocked in the kitchen. There was coffee provided and we supplemented with some we purchased at the Napili store that is very close. Not walking distance, but on the way to the expressway. Housekeeping had to be scheduled and did a great job. We did keep things tidy ourselves (sand in your suit from swimming!) We swam in the ocean each day, but there is a small pool. The view from our lanai is wonderful. We know to bring binoculars and saw whale activity and a dolphin pod. The price here is pretty much in line with anything you rent on the beach. It’s not a hotel or resort, it’s a managed condo. We have stayed here before and I feel like it’s well managed, clean, safe and a fabulous location.

My husband and I first stayed at the Mauian in 2010. That trip was memorable and we declared that the Mauian would become our special home away from home for years to come. Since then, we have stayed on several occasions and have also tried a few other properties on the island. However, something always brings us right back to this spot. We returned this week for the first time after a few year hiatus. Somethings have not changed at all while we discovered a few new inconveniences/annoyances. What we love about the Mauian.... - the proximity to the beach. If you are in the ocean or partial ocean view rooms, you can literally step onto the sand within a minute of leaving your unit. That also means each unit has a stunning view of Napili Bay. - the old school Hawaiian vibe. The 2 story building has that old school, rat pack vibe. The grounds are lush and the rooms are tastefully decorated in traditional Hawaiian colors. The ambience here is perfection. - the beach itself is beautiful (though has changed over the years and is a bit steep). However, on a calm day I can't think of a more beautiful place to snorkel, float or stand up paddle board. - the recent addition of AC in the rooms! Definitely helps for those units that are in the afternoon sun. We enjoyed having the AC on until nightfall and then opening the windows to sleep with the breeze and sounds of the waves. - there is a small breakfast served daily (which has also changed over the years and is now scaled back quite a bit). We use the breakfast to supplement our own breakfast items that we cook in the room. You can expect toast, fruit, juice and hard boiled eggs. Things we don't love about the Mauian.... - the parking situation (which has gotten worse over the years). There are more units than parking spots. The add to that, there is no parking inforcement and I counted a handful of cars parked in spots this morning that didn't have a Mauian parking permit. Other guests were literally parking behind and blocking cars in (even though the Mauian recommends street parking). - the walls are thin, which usually isn't an issue, this time however we were next to a screaming baby and inconsiderate people that don't know how to use their indoor voices. - the beach has gotten busy and we felt pressure to go down early every morning and set up our chairs and towels (which made me feel like we were at a cheap all inclusive, minus the ”all inclusive” part). Overall, for the price this place is a gem. In the ten years we've been coming to Maui, the nightly rates have doubled on the island. However, compared to hotels in Wailea (re: the Andaz - which I liked) the rate here is still half the price. We will obviously be back (but I'll likely pack ear plugs).
There’s something different about this Maui hotel resort. Something that you can’t help but notice. It’s a luxury resort in the Kapalua area of Maui that doesn’t just take your breath away. It helps you breathe deeper. Kapalua is a world of vibrant colors, captivating perspectives, and magical experiences. Kapalua is a place on Maui that invites you to embrace the fullness of life. The only thing missing from Kapalua? You. We are excited to extend the spirit of aloha to you and are ready for you with arms outstretched. Visit The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua resort today and discover the sanctuary of our luxury Kapalua resort.

This is a deluxe ocean view room for two nights on December 27 and 28. The average room per night is more than 8,500 yuan. :( Very speechless 😓 The hotel explained that standing on the balcony overlooking the sea can see the sea, really, we have to lift our toes.

I don't think I have met more unfriendly staff than at this place. As well, upon check-in, I asked the staff on duty if where I was parked was okay to leave the vehicle, and he checked, and said 'absolutely' (parking is a bit challenging, and I wasn't sure where to do so; it was also quite late - middle of the night). When I checked out in the morning, I found two parking tickets on my vehicle. This could have been avoided if I had been given correct information (there were no signs saying I could not park there). The bed was brutally uncomfortable (sagging, broken springs), and there were no pillowcases on the pillows. The air conditioner unit was broken. This place is also exorbitantly priced for a hostel, even for an expensive location like Maui. The bathrooms were clean and pancakes were delicious. The common area/lobby was clean and attractive.

云云This hotel in Maui is really wonderful. Except for a little later. There are too many advantages: the hotel upgraded my two-bedroom room. Surprise! The hotel is equipped with washing machine, dryer, microwave, oven, hob, fridge. Just go buy some spices. You can make Wellington steaks. The hotel pool is large and has its own beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Lahaina. One hour a day! There is a barbecue outside the hotel and you can prepare your own ingredients for a barbecue. The air conditioning in the hotel aisle is super cold, super cold, super cold! Disadvantages: It may be because the room is on the first floor, and all the mosquitoes in my room! Super, more, more, more, more! ! ! However, the air conditioner is lower, and basically does not bite. It is very cautious to look at. Let's talk about Lahine's Ole, the discount is the same as Ouhu, but there is no superposition of UnionPay. If you need to buy something, go to Ouhu. It’s much cheaper. I lost 100 knives because I didn’t hold back. Finally, the resort fee is 25/night, parking by yourself, 15/night plus tax, valet parking 20/night plus tax. The report is completed.
GGuest UserWe had a brief but really fun stay here at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. We were warmly greeted by the sweetest staff member, Megumi. She heard that it was our dream one day to stay here and for our 16th anniversary we made it happen, and she surprised us with Leis! It was incredible. The staff here are attentive and kind and so welcoming! Michael with Maui Gold pineapples made sure to tell us all about the resident HUGE fish in the Koi pond, a cousin to the piranha, whose name is “Mitch”. The kids loved the fun facts he shared, as well as offering us some of his delicious Maui Gold Pineapple and some chocolate buckeyes he generously shared with us. The lobby had our complimentary coffee for guests from 6-9am, and a fun flamingo (yes, there are FLAMINGOS!) and koi feeding at 9am. Upon arrival we were also given two complimentary tickets to grab a cocktail or mocktail at their poolside bar. There were other complimentary offerings as well that we did not take advantage of. The kids spent most of their time on the waterslides. Poolside seating can be difficult to find if you arrive later than 10am, but if you’re patient and keep an eye out, a space usually opens up. The location can’t be beat as it’s directly next door to Whalers, which has great shopping and restaurants that are beachfront. Awesome snorkeling at Black Rock is a short 5-7 min beach walk from the hotel. We were really happy with our stay! Our room faced the mountains and we had a gorgeous view of the sunrise. There are private adult only hot tubs (one infinity sand bottom!) and pools as well. Water bottle filling stations are found on the lobby floor. Excellent choice for families. $35 self park fee or $45 valet.
乱乱窜的猫咪The hotel is indeed very old, the decoration style of the 80s, the color of the carpet can not be seen dirty or old, the safe has to charge, parking 14 knives a day, a little better can stop at the door, the supermarket to buy things directly back to the room is very convenient. The room given was not bad. I could see a sea view. It was great to see the stage and watch the show every night on the balcony. The room is not small, the maintenance is normal. I have cleaned it several times in the middle, gave a tip, cleaned it cleanly, and left a small note of thanks. The hotel has performances from 6-9 pm every night. It is more exciting on Friday. It has a local hula dance and performance. It is very good. It is super boring at other times. Several American aunts dance in American Square. The hotel’s own restaurant tastes good and the price is good. Sleeping late did not eat the hotel's breakfast, but there is a canteen, there is a coffee sandwich burger to sell, the price is OK, very convenient. Belonging to the first-line beach hotel, it is a beach, the location is very good, next to the Sheraton, black rock snorkeling a lot of fish, you can see turtles every day. The beach is really very good, the water is clear and the sand is young, there are not many people, watching the sunset is super beautiful. In general, the expensive hotels sold by Kaanapali are justified. The fish that I spent 2000 ocean snorkeling saw no more black rock.
刘刘I booked a garden view room for 3 to 4 people. The room is huge and beyond imagination. In fact, it is a two-bedroom, one living room with a corner balcony, and a kitchen dining table. Although it is not facing the sea, the mountain scenery on the opposite side is extremely beautiful, the sky is high and the ground is wide, and the clouds are floating. In addition to the large room, the rest is lackluster, the overall is outdated, the swimming pool is average, the beach is narrow, and the infrastructure is still being constructed between the two to block the passage, which makes the space on the seaside cramped. Downstairs, there is a small night market square consisting of several food trucks, and there are also several businesses selling T-shirts and handmade wood carvings. The overall grade of the hotel is 3-4 stars, the experience is average, and the price/performance ratio is acceptable, so I don't recommend it.
KkwonThis is a very good hotel.
1. Ocean view is beautiful.
2. Close to Black Rock Beach.
3. The swimming pool is large and relaxing.
4. Within 5 minutes on foot to the nearest shopping center
5. All staff are friendly.
6. Rooms are a bit old but clean.
7. However, it is a pity that the breakfast menu is small.
