Aspen Suites Hotel Juneau

The booking process was very stressful. I was trying to book directly through the hotel and I kept getting directed to a third party. I’ve had bad experiences with ******* and prefer to book directly with the hotels. The hotels were showing full for July 2nd, apparently due to the holiday. I found the Aspen Suites and booked it for $258. I felt that it was extremely expensive for what seems like a budget hotel. I understand the supply and demand concept but I felt that I was being gouged. When we arrived at the airport I tried calling the hotel to see if they had a shuttle and I couldn’t get through. It was around 8:30 pm (not like it was the middle of the night). We ended up taking a taxi. When I checked in, the lady was not pleasant at all and not very helpful. I signed a paper that stated the rate for the night as. $228 including tax. I asked for a copy and she refused. The next day I spoke to the manager, who was not unpleasant and he explained the process of booking through a third party which I already knew. Obviously, my first impression of Juneau Alaska was not good. The next day I realized that the majority of the people were not friendly. In general they are not tourist friendly at all. First and last time for Juneau and definitely the Aspen Suites hotel!

I have stayed here about 30 times over the past 5 years. It is my favorite place to stay in Juneau. Staff are great! Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are perfect. I have stayed in other places but Aspen Suites are the best. Whether for work or just staying in Juneau on my own, they are my first choice.

We flew in very late because of unexpected air delays. It was 00:30 or later perhaps when we arrived at the hotel. They were able to give us access at this late hour thanks to a good security person. Our room was clean and comfortable, good toilet amenities. coffee in the room was nice. Convenient to airport, which was fine considering our late arrival, not so close to downtown Juneau but after seeing Juneau the next day we realized we had not missed much!

Staff was.very helpful and pleasant . Needed special accommodations and didn’t have a problem at all request honored right there on the spot . Would highly recommend staying here anytime your in Juneau . Rooms were clean and nicely arranged with lots of room

The room is clean and comfortable, with a kitchen. The location is walking distance from the airport, 10 min walk. The staff is outstanding and very friendly, always ready with advices and answers to questions. The whole process of making reservation, changing reservation, checking in and out, is very smooth and fast. It was much appeciated that hotel phone was picked up by a real person who immediately took care of the needs. On the last night in the hotel before my early morning flight, my cell phone charger cable 1was broken and phone battery was flat. The front desk lady right away produced a new cable, which saved my panic.

What a find! Wasn’t expecting it to be this nice. The best part: Super clean!!!!!!! Nice, spacious room. Seems like it’s almost brand new. We were pleasantly surprised! Thank you for the affordable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Best pillows in the West! Seriously. Actually we had a great experience beginning with contact via email to checkout. Hotel is walkable (yes even in the rain) from the Airport and felt great after a marathon flight. Hotel is quiet, clean, all the staff we came across were pleasant. We had a lovely stay and will be back. Thanks!

The room was large enough so I did not feel claustrophobic. It was a nice surprise to get a large fridge. The staff was nice and friendly. The location was also very convenient and close to the airport. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets. The coffee was awesome. I will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very clean, neat and orderly! Both reservations and check-in were a breeze. Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen areas were sufficient to take care of our basic needs! Highly recommend this Aspen hotel for anny family or business travelers.
