Having been to Jolly Harbour, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. The property was clean and kitchen well stocked. The area around the villa was well maintained with amenities nearby including a bus stop to take you to town.
Only feedback i would give would be to provide a what on guide in the villa that was current.
We had a villa book but not a 2024 What's On guide. I pick one up from HBK on my last day.
If i had issues the staff tended to them and when Storm Ernesto came, someone came around to check on us.
It was my 10th time to Antigua and 4th time to Jolly Harbour. My husband loves it as he an fish off of the patio.

Our Villa at HBK Jolly Harbor was up-to-date and provided for all of our needs and comforts. In addition we appreciated the functioning wireless. There were a few light bulbs not working and I would recommend bringing adapters for the electrical outlets if you are using US plug-ins. There was one US outlet in the kitchen which we used for all phones & computers. Beautiful place to vacation!

The villa is best described as “worn” and needing attention.
The list of problems is endless…
No Wi-Fi for four days
No water to bathroom tap
Broken toaster
(All rectified within sixth day of stay)
I prioritised these three problems otherwise I’d have spent too much time complaining
Light bulbs not working
No plugs in any of four sinks
Mosquito net on patio doors ripped
Kitchen surfaces grubby
Cutlery old and greasy
The list is endless I’m afraid.
I would NOT recommend staying at HBK holiday rentals at Jolly Harbour.
BTW - the Antiguan people are still as warm, welcoming and friendly as ever.

The villa we hired, 336B could be a 4* stay but underinvestment and slack management result in a poor reviews. The main A/C unit in the bedroom was not working properly and no engineer was called to fix it during our 3 week stay. A repair man came for a broken fly screen, said he'd be back in 15 mins with the right tool and wasn't seen for a week. The upright fan in the living room wasn't working. Picture frames have been hung in the bathroom with no pictures in! The contents of the kitchen look like they've been assembled from a thrift store. The villa is tired and in need of investment and the buck passing between management and owners is tiresome. Don't expect to get more than 2 bin bags no matter how long you're staying ;-) It's a shame as this place could be so nice again.
