The hotel location is very easy to find. Room very clean but the floor abit sticky due they use tile and mopping. Overall the place is neat and comfort to rest and relax. Reception staff is friendly too.

There’s 2 reception counters for check in & out. KSL City Square Mall just connects to the hotel & resort with a glass door apart. The room lightning is not very brighter as can’t see the face clearly when put on makeup. Sadly the shower head is fixed type and the water tap at basin will splash out when turn on. TV unable to watch any channel due to the aerial cable has no signal. Still can hear the water flowing from next door or peoples talking from outside because poor sound insulation inside the room. The room door need to closed harder as it won’t fully close up when letting it close ownself. There’s Avery-day drink stall which can get mystery dolls with purchased drinks.

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

We checked in at midnight. Everything was smooth. Room was clean, no smell of smoke & aircon cold enough. Thats what I like it!

The stay was really comfortable and it is easy to get around with Grab. However, the walk to Aeon Tebrau might be a little challenging in the evening due to the high traffic flow. The staff are really friendly and they even whatsapp me to check with me constantly on my check-in time :) Overall, a great stay!

This was a staycation and we booked an executive twin with ‘2 large single beds’ as advertised, but the room was very small, so were the beds. Although rather well-appointed in terms of furnishings, there just isn’t quite enough space for 2 adults and a pre-teen child to roam. The tv is also smaller usual. There is no breakfast provided but the street that the hotel is located at has some options, but not where I would go for breakfast. The Mount Austin theme park is nearby, but if that’s where you’re heading, I’d assume you would like more space and comfort to chill out after an entire day of play.

I really nice spacious room, we stayed in 307, which is a one-bed room apartment, please note there are smaller rooms. this is really good if you are staying for a few days, large living room with an induction cooker, toaster, microwave, and fridge. They also included plates and bowls. for cooking equipment and glassware, you will need to contact housekeeping, i stayed only 2 nights so i didn't bother. one big pet peeve was that the dish provided was too big for the microwave, so please heat up your food in the containers before plating them. Both the microwave and fridge worked well, it made ice in around 2 to 3 hours. the shower was great, with constant temperature and good water pressure. the bedroom lacked a TV only the TV was in the living room, so that was a bummer, the room was also a bit noisy as i think there is a family of birds living in the air-con compressor so if you are a light sleeper, you want to give this a miss. The road outside can also get noisy at all hours. The nightlife is interesting, with quite a few bars and restaurants, and lots of motorized scooter rental stores, this does have quite a big issue with me, with alot of teens and kids zooming up and down the harbor at night, it does get dangerous for families with smaller kids. The selling point of this place is its proximity to Legoland, unfortunately, it is a tad hard to get a Grabcar (a rideshare service like Uber) because at the moment the area is not as busy as it was pre-covid. i see families waiting 30mins to an hour to get a car. If you drive, there is an underground carpark (complimentary). The most disappointing was the breakfast, not enough food, and they were unable to cope with the number of people. they struggled to fill coffee pots, juice dispensers, cut fruits, and bread. once something came out, it was gone in minutes. Overall, I would recommend this place for families, just skip the breakfast and make something in the room.
