Takada Terminal Hotel

It was the last time to go to the Kashiwazaki fireworks festival, but I made a reservation because it was cheap and there was a vacancy. The station was in front of me and the parking lot was saved in front of me. There is Lawson nearby There is also a ramen 🍜 shop, so I don't think it's a problem if you're hungry in the middle of the night. The staff's response was good and comfortable.
Hotel Century Ikaya

This time, this hotel is three consecutive nights in New Ikaya. Breakfast is asked whether Japanese or Western food on the night before, and you must specify it at that time. Japanese or Western food is filled in on the spot on the direct ticket. I thought I was counting the number, but there was no particular counting, and it was like if I was decided in the morning of the day. The proportion of western and Japanese food seems to be the majority of Japanese food. Because of this, Western food is not coming out 々 even if you ask. The first day was made to western food, but it was waited for about 10 minutes, and the Japanese food who came later was not able to be carried even if it was carried more and more. Also, the bread was pattery and Immaichi. The second and third days were Japanese food, but the menu was together. However, on the second day, potato salad was the same potato salad as on the third day, but the person who came from later was replacing pumpkin salad, so it seems that the third day is left when there is the second day. It seems to replace the third day menu when it is gone. Japanese food has a hot spring *, but it was disgusting that * was put in the vessel to put * as it was and put out. Coffee, tea and juice are self. It's a pity that there was no coffee to bring back to the room.
Art Hotel Joetsu

- background The hotel representative did mistake to charge ¥1300 yen less (not fulfill coupon requirement) when I checked in: “another manager officially acknowledged their mistake.” Action: - calling to my room! - posting memo to come to the front desk right away!! - taking about one hour at the front desk to solve the issue even in the evening !!! Question and problem - why not ask me to correct the difference in the checkout? (Seems their awful business rule) - no understanding customer’s time and how to solve issues with the customer (my hourly wage should be more than ¥1300 but even their due to their mistake) Summary and action: Although the representative accepted their mistake (coupon applied-just ¥1300), they spent about 1hour to solve an issue and keep awfully asking me to come the front desk during the stay. Why not ask when I checked out? Definitely it might be related to their unacceptable business system. It seems that the hotel employees are not understanding what the hotel business is and the concept of hospitality especially solving issues of customers Unlike their competitors like APA and Dormy-in, it is such a poor service and not well maintained hotel itself. I am not using anymore my stays chains and not recommend at all. I am also exploring any action to payback my time from their service. In the bottom line, hopefully the Covid-19 will impact on this kind of business to remind not even omotenashi, but just basic hotel customer’s very basic right.
HOTEL ROUTE-INN JYOUETSU
3.8/529 Reviews
It is about 2km from Naoetsu station and a 30-minute walk. It stands out because it is the tallest building in the area. Located by the river, the embankment is convenient for a walk. The guest rooms are built in a typical business hotel, but the stiff beds are different from other business hotels and route-in. There is a large communal bath, a coin laundry, a restaurant, and a vending machine. Breakfast is a general buffet. If you walk 500 meters, you will find a convenience store and restaurants. You can watch BS broadcasting and WOWOW. The employees were polite.
