Our group of friends had an amazing time at the Suyun Village Hotel in Jiuquan, Gansu. The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The owner, a talented artist, treated us like family, sharing his local and cultural knowledge over cups of delicious tea. We loved the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, perfect for relaxation. The hotel had cozy spots inside and outside to soak up the sun while enjoying a good book. The hot pot dinner was mouthwatering and warmed us up on chilly nights. With its convenient location, we easily explored Jiayuguan Pass and the Great Wall. This hotel's hospitality was top-notch, and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

After arriving, we found that the room was poor, the decoration smelled heavy, and the sanitary conditions were poor. We checked out decisively. 3. Dunhuang International Hotel should be an official government hotel. I checked it out. It covers an area of ​​thousands of acres, a large manor, and several hotel buildings. 4. Buildings 2 and 3 are recommended. The rooms are good. When there are few people in Building 3, the breakfast will be taken to Building 2 by the shuttle bus. 5. The hotel is in good sanitation and has good toiletries, but some facilities are generally maintained, such as the washbasin, etc. The drainage may have some problems, which basically does not affect the use. 6. The breakfast quality is good, the service staff is also enthusiastic, and it has the basic level of the government state guesthouse. 7. (You can't get to the hotel entrance by taxi) The hotel has a total of 3 floors, and the lobby is on the 2nd floor. The sound insulation is very average. You can hear the noise outside the door at 7 o'clock in the morning, because all the room doors are opposite each other, and there is no so-called corridor at all (see the picture below). I booked a family room, 2 adults + 1 13-year-old child, but everything is double. There are two pillows on each bed, one high and one low, which makes our family of three who like low pillows really embarrassed 😳. The bath water can never be adjusted to the temperature you want. The most unbearable thing is the noise in the room. You can hear the sound of water flowing in the water pipe all night. I asked the aunt the next day and she said it was the sound of the air conditioning pipe. I can only laugh and don't recommend it.
