Staying at Sichenyuan Hotel is the biggest surprise of this trip to Jianshui. The location of the hotel is very good. It is only more than 100 meters away from the ancient city. quiet , nice place to stay. easy walking distance to the old town. the owner was really kind to help me w my bag and send me to the main road to get a taxi which was v appreciated else I have to drag my bag along the small lanes.

Every year when I go to Jianshui, I always choose Hanlinyuan. It has a courtyard style and almost all rooms are suites. It is spacious and quiet in a busy city. I highly recommend it! The increase during holidays is also reasonable at around 1,200 yuan, and it is around 500 yuan for regular stays.
