This is a gem of a bed and breakfast establishment. We were upgraded to a family style room upon arrival. The room was very large for the two of us. The room was located on the third floor and there is no elevator, but the host graciously carried our luggage to our room. The proximity of the accommodation to the Fangjian Mountain enables us to reach the park area before most other tourists coming from the nearby cities. We were already on our way down the mountain when we see the huge lines of people waiting for the buses and cable cars to come into the park.
The accommodation itself is quite impressive. The host and hostess did a good job of renovating to include all the modern amenities of a 5 stars hotel.
I would definitely recommend this place!

The environment is very good, and the biggest feeling it gives people is cleanliness and hygiene. The room style is simple and elegant. This is a hotel with good environment, good location, relatively new facilities, good service and free parking. It is within a 10-minute walk from the Fanjingshan Scenic Area Visitor Center. We grabbed the Fanjingshan tickets that morning and rushed here after visiting the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. It was after 10 o'clock in the evening when we checked in, and the lady at the front desk was still waiting. There was a thunderstorm and heavy rain in the middle of the night when we arrived at the hotel. But it was quiet indoors and I had a good rest. The breakfast powder in the store is very good. I will stay in this store next time.

The hotel occupies one side of the river. The east gate of the park is just across the wind and rain bridge. It is convenient and quiet. There are many parking spaces. The restaurant downstairs is its own small kitchen. I ate here for two days. It was very convenient and the food tasted very good. The room was very comfortable, with a large balcony and good hygiene. There was a large screen in the hotel lobby that broadcast live information on the park cableway, which was especially helpful for judging the weather on the mountain. The boss was very enthusiastic. We arrived at 11 o'clock at night. Because it was the off-season, it was dark all the way after getting off the expressway. The lights were not turned on in the B&B and restaurants. However, the owner of this shop kept the lights on waiting for me. After arriving, the boss quickly upgraded the room and even told us the time to go up the mountain. The boss also gave me gloves the next morning, which was very nice.

It's about 10 minutes' walk from the entrance of Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. Normal hotels will pick you up.
The hotel is quiet at night. The hotel may be a little old and not so new. But overall it's okay. The service is not as bad as some guests commented. The price is not cheap compared to ordinary B&Bs. I don't know how you comment on the cost performance. In addition, there are indeed bugs in the mountains, and the slightly humid environment feels that some of them are beyond the control of the hotel. A small bug like a stinky lady flew into my room and was killed by me. If you mind even these, I advise you not to live in the scenic area, just live in the city.
The breakfast in this restaurant is really simple, a bit like a set meal, an egg, a pickled mustard, a piece of fermented bean curd, a handful of peanuts, and a bowl of clear soup noodles, which is my taste. Because I went there during the Spring Festival, the aunt explained that some ingredients were relatively scarce (maybe there would be steamed buns and porridge on weekdays). For a girl, the portion is enough.

It was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around.
We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023.

The main event is here, let’s talk about the soul of this B&B – the owner’s family! 👨👩👧👦 The boss and his wife are so passionate! From the first second we met, I felt like I had returned to a long-lost home. The sense of intimacy was so heart-warming. The boss was waiting for us in the middle of the night and personally picked us up and dropped us off. With this service attitude, they would not be proud if I gave it 100 points! 🚗🌙
What touched me most was the attentiveness of the boss and his wife. Early the next morning, when we were still asleep, a hot portion of authentic noodles was already quietly on the way. The authentic home-cooked taste warmed our stomachs and hearts! 🍳
The best thing is that because of the boss's considerate arrangement, we actually caught up with the first group to go up to Fanjing Mountain. There was no queue and we could directly embrace the beauty of nature. It was an amazing feeling!
To sum up, Longting Courtyard is not just a B&B, it is a warm harbor during a trip and a ”home” that you will want to visit again. Highly recommended to everyone who yearns for peace and warmth in the mountains! 💖

We booked a suite, and there was an unexpected visual effect in the morning, with a 270-degree view of the flowers and plants in the courtyard, full of green scenery.
The room was large, comfortable, clean and hygienic, and I felt good and happy.
I especially praised the breakfast. For the B&B, I especially praised the hotel's attentiveness, which was very good and beautiful.

GGuest UserBeaaaaautiful guesthouse with a beautiful view on the mountain. Its very quiet and peaceful, about 10-15mins walk from the small village where the restaurants are.
The rooms are nicey designed and decorated, all by the owner himself. You can see he put a lot of love and effort in it.
The rooms we stayed in had a big window and terrace, so we woke up to the mountains and the many flowers they planted around the guesthouse which was really nice.
The owner and his family are super nice and helpful with everything.
Only thing that we didnt like too much are the disposable towels, guesthouse owner explained its for hygiene purpose, but still prefer towels that can be reused.
Breakfast is very simple as they run the place all on their own and dont have the capacity yet.

The mountain is kind of inconvenient to get to, but this hotel is within 10 mins of it, and the owner can take you to the entrance. Lovely family that runs this place, and they do a great job of accommodating to make sure you have a nice stay. Also, located next to a beautiful stretch of the river that you can go swimmimg in. Perfect for a hot summer's day!

HHaarThis hostel has everything you need. Water, shower gel, ac. On top of that the vibe in this hostel is the best I've found in china. Having travelled for about a month nowhere else has had as friendly owners and live in residents. The owner is very friendly and helpful and I definitely recommend staying at this hostel if you want to do fanjingshan because it's just a 20 minute walk to the north entrance.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and sanitary, with a good environment. The biggest advantage is that it is only 50m away from the entrance of the scenic area, which is very convenient. There is a row of restaurants behind the hotel, which is very convenient for dining. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and dined in 2 restaurants. The yellow stewed chicken on the first day had a small portion and the taste of the whole dish was average. On the second day, we chose ”Stone Pot Fish” again. The portion of this restaurant is fair and the taste is quite good. I would like to recommend it here to avoid pitfalls for the following travelers.
Back to the hotel evaluation, when we left the hotel, the door card of one of our rooms suddenly failed, and the maintenance took more than ten or twenty minutes. In the same room, the air conditioner also broke down during the stay, so the facilities were one level lower than the full score.

It’s not easy for me to eat in the stockade these two days. Take a taxi for fifty or sixty to go to Jiangkou to eat.
Of course, it is a must for a poor traveler. The price is reasonable and not expensive. Bring your own toiletries.
