This homestay is really amazing! The location is excellent, the surrounding environment is quiet and beautiful, not only far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but also convenient to reach various attractions. The appearance of the homestay is unique and full of literary atmosphere. As soon as you enter, you seem to step into a different world. The rooms are spacious and bright, warm and comfortable. The bedding is clean and tidy, making people sleep well all night. The facilities are complete, from basic daily necessities to intimate small details, all show the owner's intentions. The service is not to say. The boss and staff were warm and thoughtful, not only gave detailed introductions and suggestions at check-in, but also solved various problems for us at any time. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious, injecting full vitality into the day's play. In short, Crescent Lake B&B left a deep impression on me and highly recommend it to everyone! Next time I have a chance, I will definitely come again.

The B&B is near the ancient theater, just across an alley, and the location is excellent. I didn't go anywhere in the afternoon, just sat in the yard and was in a daze, relaxed and comfortable. In the evening, the boss warmly invited me to dinner, and I met several friends from all over the world. It was lively and happy. Next time I come to Shaxi, I will choose Wuqi.

quaint guest house that is run by a retired HK couple, they provided the warmest welcome during our entire trip, and we felt so at home! we spend quite a while chatting with Ms May and her husband and enjoyed the exchange. facilities are homely and basic, with a lovely garden and a kids play area. total of 8 rooms. shaxi ancient town is such a gem, quaint, quiet and is a place where you can really slow down your pace to appreciate what yunnan china is like. spend your time wandering around shaxi ancient town, it’s small (1 hour exploration) but definitely take the time to sit with a cup of coffee or a book. take the yellow taxi (electric buggy) to explore the various smaller towns that surround shaxi. there are appx 7 smaller towns, each with its own charm… we only had time to explore beilongchun, where the pace of life is slow, quiet and healing. the higher you hike, the views are very different! some places to check out: - shaxi avant garde book shop u - universal bakery (alien mascot bakery that sells sourdough, hard crust bread) - bailong tan (small lake) - 山风院子 which has a tree house and a mini cafe - shaxi tea horse museum - old stone bridge, in the afternoon an elderly couple would be there with their goats and you can buy goat milk or take photos. - shaxi friday market!!!

The sanitary conditions are quite satisfactory. The room environment is not as good as that in the courtyard. The privacy of the room is only closed by a few curtains. The sound insulation effect is not good. There is movement on the roof at night. If you don't sleep well, you will wake up. Breakfast starts at 9 o'clock, which I personally think is a bit late. There is also a special afternoon tea. Good night desserts have never been seen before😓. On the first day I checked in, the waiter brought one🍊one🍎two small packs of Oreos. There was a can of Sprite and a can of Coke in the room. I only ate one🍊. I haven’t seen any additions in a few days. In particular, the bath water is very small, and it did not get bigger after following the instructions on the wall. A lady with long hair couldn't get her hair wet for a long time, so I caught a cold on the first day of bathing, and the store needs to improve it.

A very satisfying stay. The room is the same as the picture, clean and tidy, and parking is convenient. To be honest, when I first arrived, I was a little nervous when I saw the environment near the house. The B&B is at the intersection of two roads on the edge of the town, and the surrounding area feels relatively desolate. After checking in, I found that there is a world inside. The boss and his wife take care of it themselves. It has just opened. The decoration in the room is stylish and simple, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. Go downstairs and walk a few steps to the roasted pork restaurant opened by the boss's brother. We stayed for two days and had three meals and two breakfasts. The taste was good and the price was reasonable. On Sunday, the boss also took us to the Maxiang Highway to see the alpine rhododendrons. We avoided the peak period and chose to go there in the afternoon. Although the weather was not good, the alpine rhododendrons on both sides of the highway were still very shocking. When leaving, I did not take the highway and took the Niusha Line recommended by the boss. There were patches of sugar-heart apple orchards on the road, and white apple flowers were hanging on the branches. I took a refreshing hot spring in Niujie before the highway on Niujie. Shaxi Chuyu B&B is worth recommending
