Jianchuan Hotels with Breakfast

I chose this B&B because of the photos on Ctrip. It is indeed a very well-designed B&B with rich and exquisite space. The on-site experience is almost consistent with the imagination. The inn is right next to the intersection from Nanguzong Lane to Heihuijiang. The Lanshan double bed room has a long row of windows that can be opened, which is very comfortable if the weather is good/the temperature is suitable. The inn's breakfast, afternoon tea, and daily services are all online. Shaxi is really suitable for a short stay to relax and unwind, and I will consider coming back.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It is well-located on the side of the ancient town, allowing us to reach the main sights of Shaxi within 5-10mins walk. Easy with the luggages too if you are arriving in a car which can stop right at the main door. The suite was huge with separate living area, bathroom and had a nice wooden decor. Although it’s already been operating for many years, it felt brand new! Hotel compound itself was beautiful with an airy garden setting. We enjoyed taking breakfasts & afternoon tea at the outdoor benches by the dining hall. Even though it was fully-booked on one of the days, it never felt crowded at all. Staff were courteous, always smiling and happy to offer their services or advice. This is a property one should definitely consider if intending to spend more days in Shaxi & the neighbouring area, so that you could enjoy the hotel itself.

Impression Shaxi meets all my imaginations of Youfeng Courtyard. You can't stop taking photos in the courtyard without leaving your home. The boss is warm and considerate, and the room is clean and comfortable. The old house was renovated, with a very design sense. All the wooden furniture introduced by the boss was collected, and the doors were all old objects. The store owner was responsive to every request. My daughter wanted to travel and take photos, and the elderly wanted to enjoy wild mushrooms, and they were all met one by one. The geographical location is excellent. The car can be driven directly to the back door, and the front door is 100 meters away from the pedestrian street of the ancient town, which is quite convenient. It is very close to the ancient theater, Yujin Bridge, Youfeng Cafe and other check-in scenic spots. The breakfast is very appetizing, and the fresh milk is a thumbs up 👍, which is highly recommended.

The review is a little late. The days in Shaxi were like a dream. When I woke up, I had to go back to my daily work. It is a very quiet and cozy B&B. There are beautiful scenery inside and outside the door. It is clean and hygienic. The breakfast is rich enough, and there is also a warm goodnight sweet soup. On a clear night, you can also see the stars. I have gained a lot of kindness from the B&B during these days of traveling alone. I look forward to meeting you on the next trip~

Staying at this family run hotel turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Shaxi ancient town. The hotel has beautiful courtyards and impressive building architecture. It’s situated just steps away from the ancient town with many restaurants and shops nearby yet remains a quiet oasis once we step into the hotel. The hotel room is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed is clean and comfortable with heated blanket. The host is very friendly and helped provide tips on attractions around town and transportation to Shaxi town. Breakfast was delicious and to our delight western breakfast option was provided. Good value for money and highly recommended.

quaint guest house that is run by a retired HK couple, they provided the warmest welcome during our entire trip, and we felt so at home! we spend quite a while chatting with Ms May and her husband and enjoyed the exchange. facilities are homely and basic, with a lovely garden and a kids play area. total of 8 rooms. shaxi ancient town is such a gem, quaint, quiet and is a place where you can really slow down your pace to appreciate what yunnan china is like. spend your time wandering around shaxi ancient town, it’s small (1 hour exploration) but definitely take the time to sit with a cup of coffee or a book. take the yellow taxi (electric buggy) to explore the various smaller towns that surround shaxi. there are appx 7 smaller towns, each with its own charm… we only had time to explore beilongchun, where the pace of life is slow, quiet and healing. the higher you hike, the views are very different! some places to check out: - shaxi avant garde book shop u - universal bakery (alien mascot bakery that sells sourdough, hard crust bread) - bailong tan (small lake) - 山风院子 which has a tree house and a mini cafe - shaxi tea horse museum - old stone bridge, in the afternoon an elderly couple would be there with their goats and you can buy goat milk or take photos. - shaxi friday market!!!

The boss is warm and welcoming, all facilities are complete, and it is very convenient to go to various attractions. It was a very satisfying stay.

The two cats are very cute. The shop assistants are very friendly and helped with the luggage when we entered the door. We contacted in advance after booking the hotel, and the housekeeper sent information about the hotel and the surrounding area. I chose milk tea for afternoon tea, Tremella soup in the evening, and Chinese breakfast was rice noodles. The room was very clean and well designed. Snacks and drinks were given, and there was a canvas bag to take away. The only small drawback was that the bath water had to be left for a while before it would heat up, and the water volume was not particularly large. The flaws did not outweigh the merits. Overall, it is still highly recommended in Shaxi Ancient Town.

The owner of the hotel is super enthusiastic and the service is very intimate! We received a message from the boss before check-in, confirmed our arrival time, and personally went to the parking lot to help us with our luggage~ Originally booked a sun room, the boss also helped us upgrade two double bed rooms for free! The spare parts in the room are quite complete, the hair dryer is huge and super love, and there are even two umbrellas to use, which can be seen from the boss's intentions. Just stayed after the Mid-Autumn Festival, the boss also prepared moon cakes! If you have time, you can sit in the yard and taste the tea made by the boss~ Maybe you can also pick up the life book that floats on your body (you can see the Canglan recipes and understand haha) Because of the cold in the morning and evening, I had a cough. The boss also took the fat sea to soak in hot water for me. I was almost moved to tears~ The attached breakfast is a coffee light restaurant just a few steps away from the homestay. The atmosphere is very good. The breakfast is also delicious. I like it~ There are also washing machines and laundry detergents in the homestay, and there is also a space for drying clothes, which is great ～ Surprise accommodation experience everywhere, thank you boss for the warmth! Shaxi is really beautiful and beautiful, it is worth coming~! ! ! Stay a few more days next time :)

Shaxi Yishu Inn is next to the Internet-famous ancient tree where people take photos and check in. It is full of vitality and popularity. The location is easy to find. It is a pleasant, comfortable, quiet and childlike inn with a beautiful, spacious and bright courtyard full of pomegranate and pear fruit trees and green plants. We are four adults and two children. We are lucky to catch up with the mushroom picking season. We can ask the owner for the contact information of locals to take mushroom picking in the mountains and experience the fun of picking fresh mushrooms. The comfortable outdoor area allows you to enjoy the environment and weather, as well as local food and snacks. From the roof at the top, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of the town. The location is great, in a quiet area, the room is very comfortable, very quiet at night and the temperature is suitable. The sleep quality is super good after walking around during the day, and there is also the music of crickets. The facilities are complete, the friendly inn staff are also very tolerant of our two naughty children, and the communication is intimate. The hall is open with a screen TV, gathering big and small friends who watch cartoons. The breakfast in the morning is varied, with local sweet corn, hot and sour pork shreds, eight-treasure porridge, fried dough sticks, boiled eggs, etc. This inn is highly recommended. You can walk to the ancient town, where there are Yujin Bridge, various shops, local restaurants, sunflower fields and ecological ducks, horseback riding, small bridges and flowing water, barefoot paddling in the water, drinking freshly squeezed goat milk, local green and purple grapes, unwaxed sweet and sour apples. There are large blooming sunflower plates everywhere - it's really beautiful! Finally, I took away the fresh charcoal-grilled white cakes, flower cakes, ham cakes, restaurant-dried large bacon, and fresh mushrooms packaged by SF Express from Shaxi Ancient Town. This trip was very pleasant, and I will come again with my family next time!
