Very good hotel, very good breakfast, the room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom is very beautiful and there is a big balcony. Recommend a self-driving friend to stay at this hotel.

We came for the superbike race and found Barcelo Montecastillo a perfect base for our weekend. It was only a 15 minute walk from our room to gate #2 entrance to the track, we went back a forth multiple times as it was so convenient. The track has very poor facilities for food or drink and no where to sit down out of the sun so we would just come home and relax on our patio. We had a 2nd floor golf view balcony room and it was amazing, beautiful, and relaxing. We had the breakfast package and it was excellent. The main dining room closed for siesta but the bar was always open so that is where we ate and it was consistently good. They had some great servers, Nicholas and Jose, who were very friendly and fun even though they were always very busy. Free parking out front, a very good gym and the surrounding neighborhood a good place to go for a walk. Overall a great stay, thank you BMG.

Good weekend! I recommend a romantic weekend. Infinity pool and lounge chairs facing the sea. Great cocktail. Buffet has options. Very friendly staff. Swimming in the shade in the morning. When choosing, choose the sun all day #Swing up Superior The only downside is paying hotel parking fees for residents.

Booked this hotel online and was not expecting much. It turned out to be a fantastic hotel. We had a room for 3, so it was with a sofa bed. Rooms and beds are comfy, and I love the toiletries! The team at front desk are really helpful too. Definitely going back there if I am in Jerez again.

The hotel is a charming building, occupying a former convent. It's very close to the centre of Jerez, with parking available nearby and in close proximity to nearby bustling restaurants and cafes. The staff are excellent and friendly, especially the very helpful manageress Maria Montiel, and we can't forget the two ladies who give service at breakfast, always with a smile. The cleaners maintain the rooms to a high standard, and in a cheerful fashion. We stayed in a comfortable room overlooking the square, and have stayed there twice, which of course is a recommendation!

Really liked this hotel. Location is perfect, extremely convenient for siteseeing. Check in was smooth, front desk staff is very polite and helpful. Parking is in an underground garage right by the hotel and is approx €20/night. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious with a safe, coffee maker, mini fridge. It had 2 Juliet balconies and a very good size bathroom with a tub and shower. Breakfast was standard continental with a good selection. There are several restaurants, Tabanco - bars where you can do Sherry tasting and stores with a central Mercado nearby. Everything is close and within walking distance. Would highly recommend this hotel in Jerez.

If you are visiting/competing at the adjacent motorcycle racetrack, this is very convenient. When a race is on, it is a constant noise of motorbikes that you can hear from the pool, lobby, and room. If you're not into bikes, this ruins this hotel/location. Pool is inconveniently across an access road to the hotel - you have to walk through the lobby to get there. In early June, the bar area near the pool was locked up, so there is no option to get a drink. This hotel is remote - it cost 30 EUR to get a taxi to the airport, and there are no buses. There is only one eating option - the attached restaurant is overpriced and the food is very poor quality indeed. Unfortunately our room was also a disappointment - it was very clinical and smelled of bleach. I saw photos of other rooms online, but the ”bungalows” in the basement were completely bland and characterless.
