We tried to check in and what is called a 3rd party booking site, messed it up. The desk clerk was very professional even after getting an earful from that site, on the phone. Praises to him for fixing that problem. Now to a continuing problem that I have with hotels lately. It seems when hotels are full, especially with kids, they run out of food on the serving line. There is usually one person doing this cooking ,they don't get help and get frustrated with this. Sorry, 20 years in food service has told me how to rectify this problem, instead of scolding the large group of guests,mostly kids.That is the way they take it. This is the 2nd hotel this this has happened to my family,this has to end if they want my business anymore. This is not standard policy. Remember there is Verbo and Air bnb. Besides I cook better then they do.
