The hotel is incredible. If you are looking for some peace and privacy look no further. Beautiful rooms, spotless and green territory, attention to every detail. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff will make your stay memorable.

Such a perfect place! The room was spacious and so nice and stylish furnished. The view from the big terrace is just fantastic! The whole hotel and surroundings are gorgeous and so well kept! All staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good and varied. Massage is just great!! Also a big plus is the hotel boat that you can book for a free trip! Pool is amazing and perfect when it’s low tide. I would go back anytime!

What a hotel! Absolutely beautiful decor and facilities. Staff were all so friendly, helpful and professional, never wanted for anything whilst there, service was impeccable. Rooms were really good size and fantastically stocked with shower robes, slippers, shower accessories, toothbrushes, razors, shaving foam, towels, minibar and coffee. The food was all absolutely amazing too, the portion size are quite big so make sure you’re hungry. Overall, this hotel is just great, I would definitely recommend it for a stay. Only words of caution I would give you, take some water shoes with you as the sea outside the hotel is full of urchins. I would also recommend doing the snorkelling and starfish tour, and go to Salaam Cave to see the turtles. The general manager was also there with his wife both of whom were fantastic hosts and always came to say hello in the evenings and ensure everything is okay.

La.plus belle adresse pour nous à Zanzibar destination que nous faisons pour la 6eme fois ...en effet cet hôtel rempli tous nos critères, très bien placé, magnifique plage, belle piscine, la restauration en demi pension propose beaucoup de choix pour tous les goûts, et quand au petit dejeuner c'est le top du top. Les chambres sont impeccables avec tous le confort d'un 5☆. Le personnel est adorable, le manager vient à chaque repas du soir nous saluer et échanger quelques mots. Vous trouverez aussi une salle avec baby-foot et billard juste à côté du restaurant qui a vue sur la mer. Nous avons pour habitude de changer d'hôtel régulièrement pour découvrir d'autres endroits mais là nous ferons une exception nous y reviendrons c'est sûr !

+ Large rooms, incl. beds (2m width) + clean hotel and rooms + perfect location for several activities, i.e., diving, kite surfing (do not use the one right next to the hotel) + great kitchen & food!!! - Italien manager, hence there is real, self-made pasta & co :) + various choices for breakfast incl. few á la carte orders + great coffee (they have an Italian coffee machine) + small hotel, only few rooms, very quiet + also restaurant / bar is nice to chill during the day + one of the fewer hotels with a tiny gym +/- few blackouts mainly in the evenings

Really spacious room, with great facilities. Friendly staff and obviously a well-run hotel. It may sound picky, but I do wish there was a way to turn off the balcony lights, as the room is bathed in light due to the lack of window coverage of the curtains. Slept better when I wore a face mask but really that shouldn't be necessary.

We booked our stay directly and got the best discount! I can confidently say it was the best choice I ever made when traveling with friends. From the reservation, arrival to departure, everything was perfectly organized. I can not thank the Management as well as the entire team for making sure we felt at home. The location is perfect, beach incredible, sunrise views magnificent, food menu exceptional, excursions as well as transfers were well organized and with a very professional time. We will cherish this vacation forever and I can't wait to bring a bigger group of friends this November! Asante sana Team Alma, the best hotel in Zanzibar!
