Stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Camp Lejeune on April 9, 2026. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. The front desk receptionist at check-in was rude and unwelcoming, which is not what you expect when arriving at a hotel. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency regarding fees. I was charged a $50 room key deposit that was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. This unexpected charge created a financial inconvenience significant enough that my wife and I had to go without a meal until my paycheck came through. I attempted to follow up by phone, but the response was disappointing—no meaningful resolution, only excuses. Overall, the combination of poor service and undisclosed charges made this a negative experience. I recommend future guests confirm all fees in advance before booking.

The housekeepers didn’t clean my room at all. My wife and I came back to our room and couldn’t access the room due to the latch being broken and it took them almost an hour to get us into our room, this was around 3 am. I would never recommend this place to anyone

Found the place very clean and orderly,staff was attentive and the breakfast was above average and was plentiful and good.

Excellent hotel. Great price and Location!! They keep the hotel spotless. The staff clean all day everybody was very friendly. A special thanks to Gabriel one the managers who went beyond the expectations and brought our granddaughter a toy. Thank you for everything

Room was not clean. Never was brought towels. Charges for incidentals whatever that as never got deposit back. I left a housekeeping tip cleaned up the room and took out our trash. So I don’t know what happened there. I called and they didn’t have an answer!

Gal at check-in was very good. Room was super clean. Breakfast was one of the best! Again, I am surprised that a quality operation would not have grab bars in shower.

I purposely choose this hotel solely based off of the staff. Rooms are always clean and tidy, but the staff is really what makes me pick this place.
