This hotel is completely pleasantly surprised. People called Jiayun. The name is so nice. I didn’t report much when I booked it. I hope to walk for ten minutes to Izumo Dashe. There is a delicious ramen meal at 10 o'clock in the evening. It is already very good at this price. There is no pick-up station service. Izuo Station is at 2:30 in the afternoon. The room is old, but the cospa is good considering that there is a hot spring including breakfast. You can barely see Lake Shinji from the room. The location is also within walking distance of both Matsue Castle and Lake Shinji. The parking lot is free and they will send you to the station in the morning. The only elderly male staff at the front desk is unfriendly and does not reply easily. Well, it's a hotel of this level, so it can't be helped if you think of it as a clerical staff, but it's a pity that other staff are doing their best. I think it's good just to sleep for sightseeing and business.

It was unusual for me to take off my shoes before entering, but I was glad that it was clean. It felt especially good indoors. All breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. I stayed at this Dormy hotel in April 2019, and chose it again for a two-night stay because it'd worked out well, and again, I wasn't disappointed. I think I may have even been in the same room! The quarters were plain and compact, and with no view to speak of, but well-designed and equipped, especially for working on the laptop - great desk space, easily accessible power sockets and good wi-fi. I loved having the amplifier, something most hotels don't include. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a mini tv (and welcoming duck), with a larger one in the bedroom. The complimentary inclusions were appreciated - for example, ramen in the evenings, bath salts (bonus), and peach jelly in the fridge. The reasonably-priced breakfast was good, and featured perfect tempura! The hotel is near the JR station and a 10 minute walk to Lake Shinji, 15-20 to the castle. Staff were efficient with tasks such as forwarding luggage. Overall, excellent value!
