　The first time we chose the back of the inn at Shuzenji Onsen, it was the Yukoro Kikuya. It is located almost in the center of the hot spring town of Shuzenji, and if you follow the prefectural road that runs through the northern bank of the Katsura River, there is an entrance to the inn, and there is a parking lot next to it. From the entrance to the main body of the inn, you will pass over the lobby built on the bridge over the Katsura River. Check-in is done on the sofa in this lobby, so you can see the Katsura River from just above the river. As the name ”Yu Corridor” suggests, many hot water areas are connected by long corridors. From those hot springs, I could see the beautiful garden of the inn. The dinner I was looking forward to was called ”Quasi Sakana Kaiseki”, and I was able to choose some dishes as I liked. We were two of us, and we dared to eat different dishes, but each dish looked beautiful and very delicious. Our accommodation plan was a plan to have draft beer free in the private lounge, so we had draft beer in the hot spring and relaxed.

Izu Okawa Onsen. I have traveled to Izu for several dozen times, but it was the first hot spring area to visit. After I was lost in Shimoda or inatori, I decided to check out the muddy hot water and late check out. It is attracted to the pure Japanese style inn with a late check-out that is not unusual in a foreign hotel. Building ４０ years, a hot spring inn of one house. I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

I stayed in a room on the 9th floor of the silver ridge. I thought it was a good inn to have you get a hand towel by the shuttle car at Inatori Station. I thought, but I was disappointed. Check-in was over at 13:30, but wait in the lobby until 14:00. There is no welcome drink while waiting. At 14:00, when you enter the room, you will be guided all at once. Take your luggage and enter the room. The room has a window open bath. Although it has a panoramic view of the sea, the roof of the entrance building is in the way on the west side. It was nice to be spacious and beautiful because it was renovated. However, the service is not good for an inn of 50,000 per person. There is a charge for drinks in the refrigerator, and there is no tea confectionery in the room. There is no guide in the hall and web search. It's free in the lounge on the 6th floor, but it's troublesome to go, so I want you to prepare it in your room. Even though it was a warm time, the open-air room was too hot and you couldn't enter it unless you added water. I was happy to have pajamas. Supper is a room meal, but the pace of coming out was slow, and Mr. Nakai's customer service felt uncomfortable. It's a pity that the sashimi was also dripped and didn't look good. Breakfast is a buffet, but there were few types and the taste was normal. I went to Izu, but it's a content that has no features. I often stay at this class inn, but I feel the simplification of the service and I don't think it's worth the price.

This used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. I stayed overnight in a group of 4 friends from high school. I went with a friend who went with me because of the contact with an uninhabited island where I stayed by a dedicated ferry. We took the shuttle bus from Mishima Station on the Shinkansen, but since this bus was gorgeous, we were very excited from that time (although the return was an ordinary microbus). When you arrive at the dock, there is a dedicated luxurious waiting room, which is differentiated from customers who go to the aquarium on the same island. When I was ashore by the hotel, I was in the waiting room, but the polite staff welcomed me and guided me to the lobby with a wide 々 through the road to the garden decorated with sculptures and plants. The cigar bar, which is like a luxury country club or a cruise ship, makes you feel the style. The staff was not very conspicuous and it was a good point that I was able to spend freely in the hotel without hesitation. The room was a Japanese style room, but there was a living room between the Japanese room and the bedroom on the sea side, and it was a relaxing construction as a wide 々 including the bathroom, and it was too much to relax by four people. The view of the sea and Mt. Fuji from the room was also great. And the great service is a drink service including beer and wine until 7 pm. From 7 am, you can only enjoy soft drinks and coffee, but you can take it back to the scenic lounge or your room. Due to the convenience of one of my friends, I only had breakfast this time, but the level of food was high and the service was perfect, so I should be able to expect dinner quite a bit. The person in charge of the trip was very kind and I have fond memories of my trip. I suddenly decided to go to Numazu and made a reservation on the night of the day of my stay. I was confused because the entrance was a little difficult to understand, but the front desk was simple and clean and very beautiful. The room feels like an ordinary hotel, but the bath is amazing! I imagined a unit bath in an ordinary hotel, but the unit bath here is wide without a feeling of oppression, and it is partly wood grain and the design is nice. I thought it was a hotel made by Daiwa House. The price is not high, so I will definitely use it again next time I go to Numazu. The bath was a high score anyway. By the way, there is a corner with a microwave oven and vending machine on the top floor. There is a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're hungry in the middle of the night! The station is close, and the parking lot (1 day 1000 yen) is also available, so the convenience is excellent.
