A basic hotel in a convenient location. You can park your car in the hotel yard and you can get drinks from the vending machine around the clock. The service is average and the decor modest. However, the premises are clean and the room has a functional bathroom and a reasonable bed. The refrigerator was found and the air conditioning pump does not blow directly into the bed. Good, so. The selection of meats for breakfast is in a class of its own, and you can also find something lighter to eat. Sweet this and that. An okay place to spend the night, but not the most comfortable place for a longer stay.

The owners are incredibly nice, amazingly attentive, rooms are super clean and beds are comfortable (slept like an angel). But the breakfast buffet is absolutely astonishing considering the size of the hotel! Also they have a lovely shaded terrace that allows you to comfortably get some cool fresh air.

We waren hier al eens in 2008, toen met 2 kleine kinderen, en keerden nu terug. Het hotel is vrij goed gelegen, vlakbij een doorgaande weg en op een dik kwartier stappen van het centrum van Izola. We hadden een mooie, ruime kamer, weliswaar met een minuscule badkamer. Het ontbijt bestaat vooral uit voorverpakte producten. Onze kamer keek uit op het zuidoosten en was moeilijk te verduisteren. In het voorseizoen is dat geen probleem ; in de zomer zou dat onaangenaam kunnen worden. Op de t****e dag stootten we op een erg brutale man (van het hotel) die het ontbijt aan het klaarzetten was. Hoewel er al anderen (vriendjes ?) aan het eten waren, wilde hij niet dat we al de ontbijtzaal binnengingen en dat werd op grove manier duidelijk gemaakt. Onaanvaardbaar ! Dergelijke mensen moet je weg houden van hotelgasten.
