The hotel's rooms were clean, modern with very good facilities on high quality, breakfast was perfect offer not super large in variety but so delicious.. this is definitely not what drove me to make this feedback, what was exceptionally outstanding was the team, I have never seen this class of genuinely welcoming team with natural level of personal attentiveness, started from the receptionist Dedma who checked me in and was so professional, then the concierge tea. Deniz Deperli that made everything possible to ensure on guest's satisfaction and pleasant stay, as well her colleague Gezia that was taking a look around during breakfast with best attitude and smile checking on guests satisfaction. Sorry for lengthening, but there was as well an unforgettable approach by one humble kitchen worker, I requested a grilled Haloumi cheese that she prepared with pleasure, and 2 days later out of all other guests, she recognized me and with me asking, she asked me and said ” sir, maybe you would like some grilled haliumi, not only that but she has the most natural & genuine smile when I said ” yes, thank you ” This is by far my favourite hotel stay experience in life. Well done Marriott Izmir management and congratulations for having such a passionate people in your team.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park in early November. It was a completely wonderful experience, without exception. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, and check in was smooth. Our king balcony room was well appointed and the windows and balcony provided an amazing direct view of the Gulf of Izmir and the city. We were fortunate to arrive one hour before the fireworks to celebrate the Centennial of the Turkish Republic. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from our balcony. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Izmir city, and its suburbs, by foot, car, tram, metro and rail. Breakfast was very high quality and included a wide variety of fresh Turkish and western choices. Maja in Guest Relations was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and she made a dinner reservation for us at our desired restaurant on the Izmir waterfront. Thank you to Maja, and to all the professional staff at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park!

staff are rude and do not want to help with anything. Room service is terrible and tonight I am told I only have one option chicken rap. They do not allow you to use the hotel garden after 10:00pm but will allow certain customers to go out and use and tell them not to say anything. no equality here. The fridge in the room is warm. I were told that the restaurant had closed. The closing time should be 10pm but and the time were 9:30,after being refused I watched the staff allowed another person to sit and eat. I qustioned this and were told okay you can eat then. I did not choose to eat because I felt uncomfortable and didnt understand why I had just been told I am not able to eat at the restaurant but others could come and sit down to eat. I had travelled from England and arrived 8pm I had no food and were very hungry. I asked for more toilet roll and coffess since my room hadn't been stocked up. I had to ask three times in one day to get it and still when I came home that evening nothing had been put in my room. The hotel hosts weddings and will tell us stupid people who paid to stay here that we cant use the garden today. 😡. I arrived for breakfast at am. All the drinks machine were empty. I asked could I have a cold drink and were told its empty and that's it. This were At 8 am this were shocking how could it have run out. I paid for Breakfast included and let's just say it's not good at all. Tonight I witnessed a staff member say the F word while another customer were crying at the counter asking for some support because another customer had called them fat. It were unprofessional. The owner of the hotel has no manners and actually I found him more than rude terrible people skills. I felt as though I were not welcome. The facilities here are awful. The last time I came here the sauna were out of use and not blocked off the ceiling were falling through and the swimming pool is tiny and awful. I regret every penny I have spent here and please, if your looking for a decent place to stay avoid this hotel like the plague. I'm an easy outgoing guy and never write reviews about such things. But I do not want anyone to experience what I have. Second time i have stayed here and i cant wait to leave. The coffee in the rooms are awful tasting. Aircon pumps warm air. The hotel room carpet had bits cut off and stitched back again. My bath and toilet were not clean. The bathroom countertop had a massive crack init and not repaired. I genuinely have had an awful experience. They have no customer service skills at all. Stay there at your own risk but dont say I dint warn you. It's not a cheap hotel and the standards are beyond a joke. I hope to share my opinions and experiences world wide and every social media platforms out there. I hope to save you the pain I have had to ho through . It's not a good place . dont make the same mistake I did.

The hotel offers - if you are lucky - a fantastic view over the bay, has a luxurious Spa and fitness area and the standard rooms are spacious. Even though slowly a little dated, they are comfortable and I would (and will) return again. The Spa area offers a wide variety of services, however missing some tranquility one would usually expect from such a place. The breakfast is gorgeous, by the way - just missing some European style jams, as the Turkish style apricot (with more fruit chunks) had limited compatibility with the croissant I enjoyed 😉 (they were too big!) All in all a great business, where everything works as it should and all services are available.

This hotel is not for families!! The minute we arrived, we did not feel welcomed!! The reception staff behaviour was disrespectful to say the least, especially the female ones!!! They don't listen and their first answer is always 'No' even though the first rule in customer service book is never say 'no' to customers but must be like 'ok, I will see what I can do' or 'I will do my best'!! One strange thing is those 'see through' bathroom doors. Its not convinient for families since one can see each other when they taking a bath. The indoor pool is very small and not heated and the water is cold as a result. They also ask to wear a hair cover if you want to enter the pool, and you can buy it from them for a relatively high price!

We, a family of 4, stayed 6 nights at Movenpick, in early Sept. 2022. We had a pleasant stay there. Our family room was very convenient incl. very comfortable beds and clean bath and Jacuzzi. The room facilities were perfect. The location of the hotel was very good and the taxi station was just attached to the hotel. Hotel has a very good Gym and indoor pool. Receptions and staff were very polite and helpful. Totally hotel is recommended for both Business and touristic trips. The negative points in my opinion were: -lack of balcony -Breakfast was not at the level of a 5-star hotel. The variety of hot breakfasts were very few and hot breakfasts were very fatty and oily.
