It was a very small room and it smelled a bit. We were not very pleased.

The worst hotel I stayed in Turkey this time, and the only one that didn't even provide a bottle of water. A small bottle of water in the mini bar costs 30₺, while you can buy 1.5 liters for less than 15₺ in the supermarket. The guest rooms go up to the fourth floor, and there is no elevator. The door lock is the kind with a round handle and a button, which I haven't seen in China for at least ten years. There is no sound insulation at all, and you can hear people talking and walking in the corridor clearly. The only thing is that the breakfast is okay, but if you go too late, there will be nothing. The hotel is less than ten minutes' walk from Basmane Station, and you can walk to Smyrna and the clock tower in more than ten minutes. I don't recommend any accommodation near Basmane Station, or it should be said that Izmir is not worth staying overnight. The transportation is convenient and there are many people, but it doesn't feel lively. Instead, it is messy like Latin America. You can run into several refugees when you go out to buy something.

The room is very small. If a larger suitcase is laid flat to take things out, it will block the door. So to get in and out, you must first stand up the suitcase before you can open the door. There are two of us, and the other suitcase can only be placed in the open space at the end of the bed and the door of the toilet. Similarly, to go to the toilet, you must put away the suitcase. In addition to the bed, there is no place to sit in the room, no kettle, and no bedside table. One side of the bed is close to the wall, and the other side is less than half a meter of aisle. There is a 20cm wide wooden board hanging on the wall for people to charge their mobile phones. So, it's barely okay for one person to live, but it's not recommended for two people to live. It's really too crowded. The hotel has no elevator. I, a girl, can't lift a big box, so I asked the guy if he could help. He said he was alone and couldn't leave. Their stairs are irregular in width and very difficult to walk. Even if there is no luggage, you must hold the handrail carefully when going up and down the stairs to avoid falling. People with inconvenient legs and feet are not recommended to live in their house. The hotel's wifi is not easy to use. My husband and I needed to take medicine, so we asked where we could get hot water. The front desk guy said bluntly: No. Hot water is only provided for breakfast. There were 2 bottles of mineral water in the refrigerator in the room. We had free mineral water in other hotels before, but we had to pay 70 Turkish liras when we checked out, while a bottle of mineral water in the supermarket next door was only 10 liras. The most annoying thing was that we returned to the hotel at around 9 o'clock that day and wanted to ask him if there was any delicious food nearby. He still said in a bad attitude: "I don't know." However, the attitudes of the other two front desks in the hotel were quite good, and they spoke fluent English. The breakfast was good, and I can speak with conscience.
