Hygge Hotel

There is no way to reach the hotel via phone or email. They do not answer the phone or respond to emails. Accidentally left a valuable item in the hotel. They will not respond to try and get it shipped even offered to pay. Called over 12 times with no answer and sent 4 emails no responses. Disappointing, my bad for leaving something but they could have the decency to answer the phone.

Lovely hotel, really modern and classic at the same time, extremely nice laid back and peaceful vibe. Nice big rooms and bathrooms with high ceilinhs, great lobby. Very centrally located too. Breakfast available, a little garden too. All amenities in the room.

Short on score: strong average. Very good interior, cleanliness, non uniformed staff with agreeable service and decent location does raise score. Unclean sheets, minor tear and no immediate routine to repair dents reduced score. Good value for money and expectations set right. Linked to Yadoya hotel. Longer evaluation: 1. Cleanliness and state: very clean rooms, well kept interior and furniture plus low wear and tear raise score. Messy reception and unclean ripped sheets reduce score. Gym, spa or similar four star facilities not found but also not advertised ergo no change to score. Dining seemed in good shape, unclear if room-service, no after hours housekeeping neutral score. Average score. 2. Location: not central, in somewhat above average income area (note 1), traffic affecting all rooms/ reasonably calm street and monotonous fan through night in the street reduce score slightly. Soundproof windows compensate. No major construction in vicinity. Average score. 3. Service: welcoming and commercially adept staff. Minority of staff uniformed. Boutique rather than policy/training stars driven chain. Decent language skills. Evening reception fairly good at customer complaint resolution (unclean torn sheets). Below average response time on emails e.g. requesting checkout and asking for information on years in operation does reduce score. Average score. 4. Value: nearby hotels in this category advertise at similar or somewhat higher prices. Online images appear generally true. Given quality and service - pricing appears correct as of July 2024.
