Wonderful hotel in Brussels. Very close to city centre and to the EU Parliament which is also interesting. Clean and luxurious room as well as air conditioning, which leads to a very comfortable stay. Nice views from certain roomas which have balconies

Marriott's most disgusting property. i want my money back for sure. I will complain Marriott corporate office as soon as we are back to USA. I dont know where to start, I am writing as I am still on the property. Place is disgusting, rooms are dirty, lobby is dirty and infact has no lobby. Looks like AirBNB's upgraded version. We regret to say we picked marriott over Hilton and whole family is regretting. NO AC working, NO toilet working. I still dont understand how come Marriott not doing any visual Audit of the place and ask local owner to fix it and make it high quality. Hotel next door looks better. Kitchen also has plates which has broken edges. I am just too disturbed about this whole seen. If you are travelling from USA to this place, just stay away, this is a run down place and highly disgusting. Even word disgusting has some standards and its below it. By the way laundry is also broken and dryers dont work. I am not attaching toilet pictures because pictures wont do any justification. Seeing is believing, Bathroom and toilet areas are really bad. BOTTOM LINE IS: THIS PROPERTY DOESNT QUALIFY TO BE A MARRIOTT PROPERTY ATLEAST IN USA, IT COULD NOT BE APPROVED BY THE MARRIOTT CORPORATE. MAY BE EUROPE IS DIFFERENT, BY ALL MEANS THIS PLACE IS DISAPPOINTING

My wife and young child were visiting Brussels for 2 nights. We checked in on July 3 at the Renaissance front desk. We walked over to the building for the Executive Apartments, which is obvious need of upgrades in the lobby, elevator and hallways. We went to our room on the 1st floor, and it instantly smelled strongly of cigarette smoke (and thus not an option for our young child to stay in). I went back to the front desk lobby and explained the situation. The lady at the Reception (I believe her name was Alicia), said the room was Non-Smoking, and shouldn’t have been smoked in, but gave us a new key for a new room on the 2nd floor. We opened the door to our new room, which smelled horribly like a chemical factory. We opened the windows and hoped the smell would dissipate, but realized there was no hope for that. It was as if the room was doused in cleaning solution to cover up something that happened inside. The room was also in desperate need for repairs and upgrades, especially the tiny bathroom. We decided this hotel was not for us, and I walked back to the front desk (with a headache from the chemical fumes), explained the situation, and it was as-if they knew exactly what I was talking about and agreed with me and allowed us to cancel and check-out. We then drove around Brussels for 2 hours to find another hotel that had vacancy, which we found at Steingenberger’s Wiltcher’s at a 5x higher rate than what we originally booked at Marriott Executive Apartments. This is the first time in my life I have ever had to check out of a hotel shortly after arrival. I thank the hotel for agreeing to cancel my reservation, the lady at the front desk was very understanding and helpful.

We used this as a base the Marriott Apartments as a base for a short city break in Brussels. Ideal for our family of 4 (2 boys 16 yo & 4 yo) with 2 double bedrooms & convertible sofa bed. With own kitchen & balcony the self contained accommodation style was perfect set up for us. Perfectly located for public transport links, & exploration of the nearby European quarter on foot, we'd happily book to stay again if returning.

We arrived at 9:30am after a 8 hour trip and we thrilled that they were able to provide us with an early check in with no hassles. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant next door, The Poet had very good breakfast and dinner with excellent service by Kalinka. The stand out employees at the hotel during our stay were Marina Paoli and Leia. They went above and beyond great customer service.

We had a room on the first floor. Upon entering, we were missing linens for the fold-out sofa bed and the airco didn’t work. Called reception and bath issues were fixed quickly. Breakfast was great at the Renaissance next door. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Decent WiFi speed. On Friday night there was a raging party in the renaissance ballroom that didn’t quiet down as promised after 22:00. We called and nobody answered. Called several times, messaged through the app, and finally my wife went to stand in the queue of guests who couldn’t sleep. After a bit of pushing we were moved to another room, farther away from the noise. Glad the issue was sorted but the amount of noise was simply unacceptable for this property late at night and the staff was unable or unwilling to address it, leading to having to re-room at least half a dozen guests that we saw.

As a long-standing Marriott customer, I've always enjoyed exceptional stays. However, my recent experience Bruxelles apartment fell short. Upon arrival, the reception was in a separate building from the residence. Housekeeping was only offered pre-departure. The constantly opening entrance door felt unsafe. The unmade sofa bed disappointed us after our journey. Contacting reception was futile, even after multiple attempts. Returning to reception, they acknowledged the door issue but said no security concern existed. Yet, I felt uneasy. They said the bed would be made by 8 or 9 PM, but we expected readiness on arrival. We went out due to the delay. Returning, the sofa bed was finally set. Two days before departure, the bed was redone, but the place was unclean. No notice, and my pajamas was on the floor. Phone calls to reception yielded no response. I approached the other building's reception to request a manager. Despite asking for follow-up, I received none. The lack of communication frustrated me, expressed at check-out. Nobody reached out!

We stayed for 4 nights at a nice 1 bedroom apartment with 1 extendable sofa bed. The place is cozy and has everything you may need for a self-service business or family stay. Kitchen is ok - microwave and hobs, coffee maker and water filter, fridge, kettle. Kitchenware is available. The reception desk is located at the anjacent hotel, personnel is nice and responsive. The location of the hotel is very good, it's close to city transport and there are restaurants and shops near by. It's situated on a quiet street.
