There are a lot of bugs, a lot of moths, and there are a lot of flies in the breakfast dining area. I lose my appetite every day, and my breakfast every day is in vain. I want to escape every day. Finally left.

I always stay here when I visit ithaca. It's the best price and you get breakfast. The staff is always friendly.

Nice Quality Inn. Very nice staff. We asked for a first-floor room to accommodate a special needs person, and they gave it to us with no problem. They didn’t charge us extra for a rollaway bed. And they gave us a late checkout without charging us. Impressive! Nice hot breakfast. The staff kept bringing out items to replenish what was gone. Very helpful. The room was nice. Newer floor (no carpet, which was nice and clean), good bathroom, microwave, fridge, TV. Enough towels.

Place was great! Staff were terrific and breakfast was good. Quiet place, comfy beds, newly redone bathroom, frig in room. We were very pleased, although based on prior reviews, somewhat concerned walking in. But it exceeded our expectations.

One of the first things I saw when I entered this basic room was a wet, dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. There was only one chair in the room, which was a broken desk chair. The box of tissues they had was also practically empty and the batteries in the remote had to be replaced. The breakfast was a basic one and instead of Greek yogurt, they had those small cups of Light and Lively yogurt which tastes like glue. On the plus side, the coffee was good, there were bananas, juice and bread. There were also waffles, eggs, and saugage, although I did not eat those. The staff was friendly and the hotel is located on a busy commercial *****, so it is near many restaurants. It is also within one mile of Buttermilk Falls State Park. There was free wifi, and a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. With taxes, the room cost close to $300, but I guess the demand for hotel rooms is tight in Ithaca and they could get these prices.

If I could give this place a half star I would for the friendly staff. But jeez what a dump. Just a one night stay was met with insect infestation, a broken door handle and a staff while nice, knows perfectly well it's a run down heap of bricks. Didn't know this going in as the reviews were 3 plus stars. Never stay here. It is way overpriced and possibly disease ridden with the insect problem.
