Hotels Near Umman Mescidi in Istanbul

Reception staff and porters were excellent. Staff in restaurant were very poor, asked for room service as my partner was recovering from operation and was told its not available. Given a carry out to take to room plastic cutlery and storeroom plates , felt this was very poor for a supposed 5 star hotel.Complained to guest relations and Lady was helpful, also spoke to food and beverage manager but appeared just to pay lip service. Stood in restaurant behind a staff member for 5 minutes with no recognition that we were even there. Told us to sit anywhere we liked, only 3 other people in restaurant but took an age to serve us as she was busy sharing images on her phone with kitchen staff. We were supposedly upgraded to a better room but on checking my reservation we should have had this room anyway. We will be going back to Istanbul in the new year but we definitely will not be staying here.

Clean and modern style room , I love the design and bathroom super 💯,, limited space for the area , lots of break choices , free fruits in room , daily housekeeping, small elevator only 2 persons can accommodate, quite far from nearby restaurants , complete toiletries 🧴

For sure one of the best hotels I ever booked here. The reason that I could not give a full 5-rating is that the infinity pool has on the edge a lot of bird’s ****. Otherwise the room, restaurants, pool service, reception and concierge are on top level. Late check-out was approved with a smile. The only nagging: I asked for a quiet room, but got one near the hotel’s tennis court and a re-construction site.

There was so much good about this motel! Neat place!! The room was very cozy and VERY small! No big deal at all. The bed had a nice, hard mattress (which I love) and comfy pillows. The shower had plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The maid service was nothing short of outstanding. Very friendly and excellent at keeping the room neat and tidy. The room temp was easy to regulate. The breakfast had a great variety of choices. There is something here for anyone's taste. Lots of great breads and jams, too. Loved everything about this place. The front desk could not have been more helpful. They were friendly and enjoyed engaging in conversation. This hotel is close to the tram and, of course, the shopping options are innumerable. Highly recommended!!

My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

My daughter is a big fan of Grandma, so I must support her. The triple room is more than 2000, which is spacious enough. The hotel does have a strong sense of history. The price of afternoon tea has increased. The environment is good. I don't like sweets.

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Located near to Taksim Square. Easy access to metro. During 7 nights of stays they only changed towels 2 times, and full cleaning one time. The bottled water, tea & coffee need to request at the front desk. The room was spacious and view was nice. But the bathroom quite smelly. The front desk said there are construction beside the hotel. You can cook at the room too. They provide all the pan and cooking utensils there. Good for traveller that on a tight budget. So there are good and bad staying here. But i would say overall is ok and bearable.

I visited Istanbul from USA and this is my review! This hotel is very clean and kid friendly! It’s a must you stay here if you ever visit Taksim, Istanbul. This hotel is in the perfect location, A lot of good food nearby, shopping nearby, grocery stores and mosque. The hotel is located in Kadikoy in the Asian area, facing the Bosphorus Strait, very close to the Strait Ferry Terminal, and can be reached in 2-3 minutes on foot. There are restaurants of all sizes on both sides of the hotel. Whether you walk left or right for a hundred meters, you can enter the crisscrossing and bustling alleys. There are many restaurants in the alleys, dried fruit shops, chocolate shops, fruit stalls, vegetable stalls, fish shops, pickled vegetable shops, tourist souvenir shops, daily necessities shops, thrift shops, home goods shops, small pharmacies, beauty shops, skin care shops, small decoration shops, candy shops, etc., which are dazzling and can make your legs weak. The hotel style is retro and luxurious, elegant and grand, and it is very enjoyable to look at. The room is extremely clean and can be called spotless. Especially the bathroom floor, shower room floor, and washbasin countertop have no stains or water stains, just like the first time it was used. The hotel service is also very good. Because the flight time is late, I left my luggage in the hotel for about 7 or 8 hours after checking out, and the staff did not complain. After shopping, I went back to the hotel and waited for the bus. A staff member (an older man) took the initiative to make me a cup of Turkish tea. When the bus came, he helped me take my heavy luggage to the bus. I forgot to ask his name at that time. I would like to thank this gentleman again. His service made me feel at home. The only small drawback is that the bed in the single room I stayed in was only 90cm, which felt too small to live in.
