Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Absolutely everything was perfect. A few hours after arrival our room was upgraded to the bigger one without any additional cost - absolutely unheard of in other hotels elsewhere. The room was extremely clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and absolutely amazing breakfasts with a big variety of food to choose from. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful - we felt as a member of their extended family since stepping into that fantastic hotel. Majority of bigger and much more expensive hotels should learn from that little gem how to provide such as excellent service. The location is very handy because all major attractions are within 15 minutes walk. I'll recommend that hotel to absolutely everybody coming to Istanbul.

Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Pros: -very close to the hagia Sofia and Blue mosque. -You have a beautiful view of the blue mosque from the terrace, I can imagine it would be beautiful to sit there and eat breakfast in the summer. -clean towels and bedding -The house keeping were super friendly and ready to help and front of house were really welcoming too. -Close to tram and metro lines -24 hour shop literally 1 minute walk - front of house are present 24 hours a day Cons: - we were on the ground floor and it was quite noisy at night when some guests had come back from nights out - quite noisy from traffic in the morning as the hotel is situated on a street - very small room - small shower area - fridge did not work - breakfast was bare minimum so don’t expect much (no bread just baguettes sliced up to toast and eat as you please, standard salads and cereal) If I was on a budget, I would book this hotel again for the sheer fact that it’s close to everywhere we needed to go and we didn’t spend much time at the hotel at all. For £30 a night it was a bargain!

The location is very good, it is very convenient to various attractions, can be walked, suitable for couples and families. And the hotel is very clean, and the owner is warm and friendly, every day he asks if we need help. Every employee inside is very kind Seagulls can be seen flying over from the breakfast balcony; stay, children love it The boss gave us welcome drinks and small desserts. Next time if I come to Istanbul again, I will still choose here recommend

Sultan Ahmed Mosque
I feel very happy about this hotel. The location is perfect to access tourist attractions. In five minutes by walk , you can see Blue mosque and Ayasofya. Many hotels and restaurants nearly, no fear to walk down night streets. Room condition also good. Clean & Water pressure strong, hot water Ok. Most impressive thing is the attitude of staff. Considerate,sensitive!... No words to express!! Make me wanna come here again. thanks again. Reasonable price also makes me happy If you wanna be looking for 5stars hotel, it isn’t good choice, but if you feel comfortable about cozy space, no more suitable places likes this.
Arena Hotel - Special Class

Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Staff were really helpful and nice. Property was full of character, I liked the salon on the grand floor with the family photos and the elegant furniture. Breakfast was great, we were there after 10 days spent in a luxury 5 star resort and felt the breakfast at Arena was more homemade type. The negatives though are affecting the fundamentals of a hotel stay, the ability to sleep. We stayed in room 111, effectively 2 double rooms sharing 1 bathroom for a family, again great beds and pillows but it seemed the machine for the old lifts were as if inside our room, everyone the lift moves you hear 3 loud rotating noises inside the room, kept waking up my daughter and rest of family all night. If there is no solution for it then hotel should change the rooms to some sort of office or storage location. Sound insulation is pretty much non existent in the building, cobbled street might be cute but in Arena's case it makes the sound from cars even louder. Shame because they really had nice hotel manager and 2 gentlemen helping always. But the good news it is fixable....
Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel

Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Located in the old town, only a five-minute walk to the mosque. There are many restaurants around, but the hotel is located on a relatively quiet road with a small garden at the door. Overall, it is much quieter than those hotels facing the road. The room is relatively small. If two people's suitcases are laid flat on the floor, there is basically no aisle, but it is clean and tidy. The breakfast room on the top floor is the highlight, and the scenery from a distance is amazing. Breakfast is also okay, and there is something for Chinese stomachs to eat, but freshly ground coffee is charged separately. The only shortcoming is that the front desk service is not as warm and sincere as other hotels on our trip. The reserved room was no longer available and was not informed when we checked in. We were given a room change after Ctrip complained. But the faults do not hide the advantages, and overall I am quite satisfied.
