The location is very good. It is next to Istiklal Avenue and Taksim Square. There are many restaurants nearby. You can go in and the prices are not expensive. It is on the edge of the tourist area. The room has a locked luggage cabinet, and the bathroom is outside the room. The bed is clean.
Disadvantages: The upper bunk bed in the youth hostel has no guardrail

A great location for exploring the Taksim Square, Galata, and Pera area; very close to a bus station. Friendly staff. The only minor thing I'd complain about is the shower tiles with small moldy pieces.

There are better ways to ruin your trip…
The room was infested with ants. Toilet was mouldy and the drain was clogged.
You could not possibly fall asleep when the adjacent clubs were blasting loud music at 3am.
There were no lifts. You had to carry your luggage to the top floor if you’re that unlucky lad who got assigned to the top floor.
This has got to be the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.
