The bathroom and toilet were very small and bad. There isn't even a curtain in the shower area, everyone gets soaked. The beds were not comfortable. Apart from its location, it doesn't even deserve its name.

Raramente ho trovato un hotel così maltenuto come questo. Ha pochissime camere rinnovate, le altre sono inaccettabili. Tende strappate, moquette e carta da parati macchiate, macchie di natura organica sul copriletto pieno di buchi, fili della luce penzolanti, lampadari di vetro rotti e taglienti e solo la metà delle lampadine funzionanti, armadietto del bagno senza maniglia ma con viti ancora al loro posto per poter aprirlo, w.c. giallo di ruggine, vasca da bagno incrostata di sporco, rubinetteria da rifare, tubi del riscaldamento a vista con buchi in entrata e in uscita dove i topi possono passare come in autostrada, finestre "antiche" che danno su una strada rumorosissima sia di giorno che di notte, la vista è un cartello pubblicitario che occupa tutto il palazzo di fronte e uno spicchio di Bosforo a lato....il tutto per un prezzo molto molto più alto degli hotel nella stessa zona. Da fuggirne a gambe levate!

I love this place - the quirkiest hotel in Istanbul; huge rooms, daft decor, friendly staff and an excellent rooftop bar on two levels. On this visit we were staying elsewhere, but we made sure to visit the roof bar. As the sun sets, it's magical. The lights start flickering on, the sky turns into a rich mix of reds, oranges and blues, and the cocktails just slip down.

Mai provare il gin tonic! Sia stati in questo storico hotel per bere un gin tonic , a detta mi molte guide uno dei più buoni , purtroppo non è a livello delle peggiori discoteche Italiane , lo farei meglio a casa bendato. Il locale è carino , per lo meno nella hall, ma le camere sembrano molto vecchie e poco curate , i termosifoni con la vernice scrostata …..
