Hotels Near Gökalp 256 in Istanbul

A belated review I've be meaning to give, better late than never! We stayed here for 2 nights for the Champions League final. We arrived late at 2.30am. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. We asked if there was anywhere open to eat at that time. The staff member offered to go out and get food for us. He came back in 15 minutes with kebabs, beer and water! Just what we needed after a long trip. The rooms were clean and the showers had excellent water pressure. The breakfast was of excellent quality with lots of choice. The restaurant has a sea view. Just want to say thank you to all the staff as they went above and beyond to make us welcome and cater for our needs! I would definitely stay here again when visiting Istanbul.

А уровень сервиса – минус 4 звезды. 1) Из номера пропали вещи. Вещи возвращены не были, компенсации не было, зато было много хамства, угроз и оскорблений от персонала в мой адрес. В последний день уборщики выкинули мои вещи, взяв их из тумбочки, которая стоит рядом с мусорным ведром. К сожалению, ее не смутило, что пакет с вещами не мусорный, что пакет стоит в тумбочке рядом с мусорным ведром, а не в ведре. Не смутило наличие в пакете множества нужных мне лекарств, наушников, некоторых предметов гардероба, а также ключей от квартиры! Проблема отсутствия была замечена поздно вечером, когда мы вернулись после прогулки. В пакете были важные для меня таблетки. Персонал с reception предложил мне вместо них парацетомол (который никак мне не мог помочь), на этом его услужливость закончилась! После этого он сказал, что его смена до 11 вечера и ушел. Наплевав на все мои проблемы. Дополнительно сообщив, что в нашем номере вообще никто не выкидывал мусор, они якобы созвонились с уборщицей и она сказала, что не убирала и даже не заходила. А мусор, видимо испарился! Ей они верят, а мне нет. Ищи лучше, чао! Потрясающая работа персонала, не правда ли? К счастью или несчастью, отель, видимо, имеет общего собственника и управляющего с другим отелем, где нам подавали завтрак. Как минимум персонал там один и тот же, поэтому проблему пришлось идти решать в соседний отель. Там, казалось, молодой человек был более услужливый и клятвенно мне обещал, что мне всё вернут, всё компенсируют и помогут. Но уже после того, как я уеду. А двери от квартиры я должна вскрыть профессионалами (поскольку ключи от моей квартиры были выкинуты), как в дальнейшем писал мне управляющий – «это же всего 2долларов, у вас что нет 20 долларов?». Всё их участие состояло в том, что 1) мне велели успокоиться (это ведь так просто быть спокойной, понимая, что когда приедешь домой, попасть туда не получится!), 2) просмотрели со мной камеры , где видно, что уборщик выносит из номера мой пакет с вещами!! А ведь ранее говорили, что к нам никто даже не заходил! Но теперь их версия изменилась. Теперь версия персонала состояла в том, что они взяли мой пакет с вещами прямо из мусорки. Они не могут мне ничего компенсировать, потому что надо расследовать это дело! Что расследовать? Загадка! Но добиться мне ничего не удалось, мы обменялись месенджерами и меня убедили ждать решения проблемы на следующий же день в 8 утра. На следующий день я вернулась в свой город. We spent 4 days at the hotel in a deluxe room. The room is in perfect condition, comfortable bed, fresh towels and bathrobes. Responsive and attentive staff who helped us to book excursions and call a taxi. We also liked the breakfasts. Delicious food and fresh vegetables and fruits were available every day.

We selected this hotel mostly for its location: It is close to some of the main tourist attractions, so this choice of location turned out to be a good one. The rooms are quite modern without charm, but overall clean. However, the overall experience at this hotel was, to say the least, very unpleasant. So the recommendation is to stay away from this hotel. There were many technical incidents (door not locking, water leak, malfunctioning light switch, missed cleaning...) during a relatively short stay (6 nights). The breakfast is of very poor quality, certainly one of the worst breakfasts we had at a hotel. As a side note, the picture of the breakfast buffet on the hotel website does not correspond at all to what we had. Very misleading. The interaction with the personnel was very unpleasant, and some members of the personnel are quite rude.

The staff were very helpful particularly Ahmed ( Duty Manager Reception) and Beliz ( Guests Relations) and Katia ( Gym). The hotel was opened just 18 days when we arrived. There were a couple of “snagging’ issues, which were dealt with really quickly. The vegan buffet breakfast is the best I have ever eaten. I have a the few recipes and ideas for when I get home. Thanks Muhammad for the marinated tofu recipe. The gym is also very well equipped. Lots of cardio machines, weights including 20kg Olympic bars with various sized plates (15,20kg), 5 different boxing bags. There is also a class timetable and Stand Up Paddle Boarding. The gym staff are AMAZING; really know their stuff. The location is fantastic. Only a ten minute bus ride into the old time. We had a fab time.

The hotel view was mesmerising and the room was very clean.The terrace view was awesome specially at night but unfortunately there was no access to the topmost small terrace after 8pm.

one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. Kind loving and caring people. Cost effective safe and secure hotel which is a bit away from the center but if you get used to public transport and love to explore this is the place to be. I have no complaints. Thier morning breakfast was amazing and the staff who served it were even better than that.

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel name is actually Istanblu Hotels, we stayed two nights here as it's conveniently located on the M4 Metro line on the Asian side on Istanbul at Bonstanic Station, exit 2. Staff were friendly and helpful they printed off our boarding passes for free and recommend we take the bus 10 to the sea area where there are good restaurants and bars. It's a good quality hotel for the cost and better value than in Taksim.
