Hotels Near Gazitepe Köyü Cami in Istanbul

I stayed two nights in this Hotel from 21-23 Sep 2020. Hotel is proper 4 star. Rooms are very good. Lobby is fine. Breakfast is served in dining hall with limited choice means no buffet breakfast. The hotel is seems to be renovated new. The Hotel is in the heart of new istanbul construction area. There a many local food chains and one international pizza brand by 5 minutes walk from Hotel. This is at 1 hour drive to Taksim Square and driver charges between 150 to 200 lira. This hotel is close to Airport however taxi driver took me to airport from long way and charged 210 lira. Most of the people informed me that it should be between 45 to 70 lira. Be aware of taxi drivers in Istanbul they will charge on meter but take long route

Stayed here only for one night ! Brand new hotel , well located , the wonderful staff gave me a early check in which was really nice due to my red eye flight ) all rooms are well cleaned , well managed. The bar was very nice and offers a good selection of spirits . The front desk manager Recep was very professional and polite . Will come back again

Friendly staff all over the hotel. Started with a Royal checking in by Emre then the rest of the staff Yagmur, Mahsum only to name a few took over. Breakfast was Amazing. Food & Beverage Manager as well as waiters were great and welcoming too. Rooms were very clean and excellent housekeeping service. Shopping Center right next door for those who want a break too.

Loft airport hotel This hotel is beautiful we were completely in shock at how nice the room is - Has a huge mirror which converts to a TV. The room has little fridge with free drinks - coffee kettle. It has beautiful furnishings the bathroom is fabulous I would totally recommend staying at this hotel Has a large mirror which turns into a TV. All upgraded - & exceptional When you get a taxi from the airport be sure the taxi man puts on the meter…. If you don’t see the meter running by the time you’re leaving the airport tell him to pull over and put the meter on I have noticed several Turkish taxi drivers don’t put on the meter coming or going from the airport why because they want to rip off tourists Do not pay any more than 200 Turkish lira max You can even get an Uber for maximum of 165 from the airport to the hotel Unfortunately you cannot get an Uber back to the airport. We did get a taxi from hotel back to the airport. 160 lira The hotel says it’s 5 miles away (that’s as the Crow flies) its actuality 8 1/2 miles by road. 15 mins max All the girls & Guys at the front desk were exceptional & really sweet - they spoke English they ordered us food to be delivered in the evening for us. They also recommended restaurants. We ordered a Turkish breakfast for €5 Our flight wasn’t until 530 so we asked if we could check out at 1 and they said yes no problem which we thought was very nice of them. There is a hotel at IST Airport but it’s very expensive (& not on Expedia) We would Definitely stay at this hotel again and have marked it as one of my favorites. I don’t very often give 5 star reviews but the staff were so nice and lovely and the hotel was soo fabulous I gave it a 5*. I did book the hotel 7 months out and got an amazing price so that helped…

For years since the new airport opened, there was no hotel chain close to Istanbul airport so the only choices were Yotel at the airport itself or drive very far for a much better hotel at lower price but you pay for taxi and you waste time in the taxi. Now there is a middle ground solution: the new Hampton in Arnavutköy. The rooms are nice (even nicer than many Hilton Garden Inns) but they ruin it with a staff speaking rubbish at guests, and poor design. First of all, upon arrival there is no reception, it's the restaurant. It's a long walk in a narrow aisle with tables on one side and the buffet on the other side, finally you reach reception and farther away, the elevators. So in the morning there is constant traffic with people with luggage crossing the entire restaurant to go take a taxi – I am sure some guests bang into each other and spill food and drinks on occasion at this hotel; I have never seen such poor hotel design. Anyway I am not going to Hampton brand hotel for the breakfast so I could overlook this aspect. The room types at this hotel are king or twin (cheapest), and king+sofabed or twin+sofabed (only a bit more expensive). I booked the regular twin. Upon arrival, as Hilton Diamond I did not receive any upgrade and given keys to the regular twin room. Not that I cared much for only 1 night but I asked if the room types with sofa bed are bigger, or if all room types are the same size. I was told all same size. So I stuck with my room and went upstairs. I arrived in the room and I was surprised how small it was. There is not a snowball's chance in hell that a sofabed could possibly fit. Nice room, but just small. I went back to reception and asked what room size is this and how can a sofa bed could fit. Another receptionist told me rooms with sofa bed are double the size: 33 sqm vs 16 sqm. I was not overly pleased at the first guy because by then we were settled in the room and his wrong answer was the ONLY reason I did not ask if an upgrade was possible as Hilton Diamond. Hampton brand hotels are not even obligated to upgrade Hilton Diamond guests as per Hilton terms and conditions, but it this case it was not the point. Then he told me upgrades are not possible because they are sold out. I showed him my phone which showed availability, he said it's not possible, Hilton must make a mistake. Easy to blame Hilton but bottom line a guest could have booked a room with sofabed on the spot and then what? They would tell a guest sorry we will downgrade you? Then he said they have one such room but it's out of commission (king + sofa). Never mind that I had booked twin + sofa so upgrade to twin+sofa would have been possible so he was focusing on the wrong issue anyway just to win an argument. Anyway it was a lot of rubbish coming out of their mouths and a conversation was clearly pointless so I wanted to end it, then the receptionist said to apologize the GM would give me a discount for a future stay. Very good hotel to stay. it’s new and clean. More importantly, it’s quite close to the IST airport, convenient to reach whichever means. The next morning before we checked out, we met the hospitable hotel manager, help us call a taxi and offers very thoughtful recommendations on our next visit: the Black Sea Coast. Next time then! See you guys later!

My flight was changed so I was forced to spend a night in Istanbul. This hotel was offered to me in combination with the car transfer for 75 euros. The hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was clean, with all I was needing to spend a good night (the room was kind of small but for my purpose it was fine). Breakfast was also included in the price and I had a tasteful coffee at the bar that is at the entrance. It's not so close to the airport, but with the transfer you have no problem. The hotel is in a commercial road, where you can find markets in case you need to buy food. It was quiet during the night. I arrived around 12am and there were 2 staff in the counter waiting for passengers.

They said it was a 24-hour desk, but there was someone at the desk even though I checked in after 11pm due to a flight delay. It is located in a place where few people pass by at night, so women should not go out at night. There's Domino's Pizza right across the street. The accommodation was clean and the most spacious I stayed in Istanbul. The bathroom was also nice except that it was a sunflower shaped shower instead of a hose shower. There were two 500ml bottles of water in the room. The soundproofing is not good. However, the airport bus stop is farther than I thought. It's summer and it's too hot to drag a suitcase... Moovit says the stop is in front of a strange gas station, but don't believe that. As shown on Google Maps, the stop is in front of BIM Supermarket, so don't be confused and look for it.
