Hotels Near Çarşı Avm in Istanbul

The hotel we had two nights was a good design but there was a serious lighting problem. The room is very dark, and the room is very boring because the standard rooms look at the wall, and the lighting is not enough. You would be more happy if you prefer a city or sea view room instead of standard rooms. Breakfast was very good, you wouldn't be hungry, but it is not a perfect breakfast to enjoy. For example, the buckets are delicious but but butter and honey are not renewable. The staff approach is good and the problem is solved. The hotel is very good. The aerial is close to the square.

This is my 25th visit to Istanbul and my first stay in this strange hotel. We arrived yesterday and there was no one to receive us; we had to wait for a couple of minutes until someone showed up. The man at the front desk was quite confused about our reservation. We had already paid in advance for our reservation and showed tht vouchers but he was asking for money even though it was sorted out after a while. This morning when we went for breakfast, the variety was very low. Then I asked for Menemen ( a famous Turkish dish usually served for breakfast made of eggs and tomatoes) the girl said that they can do it for extra charge. You never ever hear this from any other hotel in istanbul even 2 star ones. I’ve stayed in many different hotels here but this was absolutely ridiculous. Funnier than that was when I asked for a bottle of water and again I had to pay. Then I asked them to put the menemen and the water on my room bill but they said it’s impossible so I paid right then. Now listen to this: tonight, I called the room service and asked for a plate and a knife. The man on the phone said he’d do it for 100 TL. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Lastly, The toiletries in the bathroom are expired and have turned to disgusting thin liquid. If you book this hotel, you’ve thrown your money away. However, the only positive thing about the hotel is the nice staff who politely keep saying: sorry but it’s impossible. It’s late at night and I’m too sleepy to go through other detailed stuff. This is a 4 star hotel, not deserving even 1.

I am writing this letter to thank you for the wonderful care and as an appreciation for the services from your staff. It was our first visit, and we were really concerned regarding the service but no doubt we had a wonderful time staying over here. Every staff member with whom we came in contact was attentive and kind including Gur Shan in room service and Ergul in the kitchen. Cem at the reception was particularly helpful and attentive, as much as Hanife, Musa and the rest of your staff. N.B: the bed was so comfortable as well. It was a real plesure staying at this beautifull hitel with extremely helpful staff. The room service was superb and the food was great and reasonably priced. This is one of the best value for money hotels that I've ever stayed at!

We really are a great hotel quiet and comfortable, working friends very interested laughterful and sincere for all your quality service. Thank you very much for your good service. If our way to Istanbul is going, we are with you again ❤️

At first the room did not match the pictures and the problem was not solved until the second day, but the overall stay was good

The location was very central but there is almost no place to park nearby. We had to park our car in small streets. Other than that it was quiet in the nights and lively in the day time.

Right now we are in our room.we have come here for just one night but from the beginning Ms Birsen whom we contacted for reservation on the phone was very kind and helpful.we requested sea view room and as she promised she gave the best room for us.it is very clean very fresh clored(white)designed room which you can see the awesome view from the window.they even have cattle to have hot water,tea and Nescafe.we tight recommend this hotel and next time we are planning to come with our parents and children.thank you for your hospitality and clean service.

My relatives in Turkey & myself in England searched for a suitable hotel for my elderly mother who is partially paralysed due to a stroke & uses a wheelchair. Quite few of the hotels did not have lifts apart from 2 hotels . We chooseThe Comfort hotel in Buyukada as the manager charmingly told me that he would give us best room with a view on the 3rd floor and that all the rooms were easily accesible via elevator. We arrived at the hotel and got a quite shock the lifts did not operate from the ground floor but from first floor which meant she had to be carried in her wheelchair up 18 stair steps by 3 staff to get to 1st floor then take lift to our room 3rd floor. Other option was to go out onto main street and wheel her via back entrance which also had 8 stair steps before any lift access . Unfortunately this really upset my mum because it meant she could not go out to eat breakfast or evening meal, however 4 excellent staff members were so disgusted with manager's attitude they had to sneak in food now & then as the manager had insisted that 2 room services was adequate for a whole week. The condition of rooms was appalling with ripped sheets , old fridge & tatty old bathroom .We cleaned our room as the cleaner was'nt available always. Also the resident ants made occasional guest appearance at the door of our balcony lovely. We had booked for 3 comfortable single bed room instead got 1 double bed and a camp bed ,the manager promised me alternative room to make up for all the mistakes but even that never happened . Despite many complaints about all the problems & how we were completely misled and sold a service that was way below any decent hotel standard the manager kept repeating that he wasnt willing to refund any monies or compensate us The owner was never available and we were fobbed off saying he was away on business . Sadly , my mother after a long illness was looking forward to this holiday but it turned out to be a complete nightmare instead . The only positive thing I can say is the hotel location is good and potential to improve to high standard with decent lift and even stair lift for guests is huge and can be a success for everyone all involved . The room that I booked for my friends, I feel very good about my living experience. I recommend friends to come here to experience. The hotel is fully equipped with two swimming pools, indoors and outdoors, as well as a Turkish bath, etc...
