I wanted to like this place but from my initial enquiry by phone, I got a bad vibe. Booked 4 nights here as part of a cross country trip. The shuttle TO the airport works well but not so on arrival, very little organisation, the van was dirty, crowded, with no seatbelts. Check in was slow due to the amount of cancelled flights in DFW that evening and I was unfortunate to get the rudest check in clerk ever. Announced loudly to a full lobby that my card was declined - it wasn't, the reader just timed out (any other Front Desk staff I interacted with were lovely). The room was spacious with separate bedroom, with the balcony I had requested, however, a number of issues, an unbelievably loud a/c unit. In fairness, they did offer to switch rooms but the noise from the Freeway was worse. It's directly under the flight path of arrivals into DFW so airplane noise is practically 24/7 (which I suppose is to be expected at an Airport Hotel). While the room appeared clean, the bathroom could have done with a scrub and there was a strong smell of curry from the microwave. Breakfast was ok and hot food replenished as needed but the coffee in the lobby was stone cold most of the time. On the 2nd night, there was a group of men drinking and partying loudly right under my balcony in the parking lot from 5pm until 11pm - they were eventually asked to move. The pool was small but refreshing in 90 degree heat. On my last evening, the toilet blocked up and I reported it to the Front Desk who told me that Maintenance had left for the evening but offered me a plunger....they said they'd call him but he never showed. So for 18 hours I had to use the bathroom in the lobby - this is a health issue and should have been addressed immediately. For an Airport hotel of it's size, they should have 24/7 Maintenance. Trying to get a refund for my last night has been torturous - the Manager is not here, the Manager will respond etc. Corporate contacted the hotel and they were given the same response - 5 emails and 2 phone calls later, I still haven't been refunded for the last night. These hotels are privately owned so Corporate have limited control over their refund policies. Management have been stonewalling me for 2.5 weeks. If there are no issues, I'm sure it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay but if there are, don't expect any sort of assistance apart from a 'Oh, sorry about that'. Caveat Emptor.
