The Hotel is great! The staff is great except for Monique. I arrived at the AC Hotel in Irvine around 1pm. I walked in, greeted Monique and said, I would like to check in please. Monique said, hello and , there are no rooms available. I explained to Monique, that I am a titanium member of Bonvoy and I received an alert that my room was ready and, I was advised to stop by the front desk to obtain my key. Monique said, oh well our hotel doesn’t do electronic keys on the Bonvoy app. I explained to her again, let’s put aside the electric key. The app said my room was ready. Then Monique said, let me see if we have any rooms available. Presto!! Monique finds a room for me. She didn’t thank me for being a valued member or offer me my points as an amenity gift. She did notice that I stayed at the AC Hotel in January of this year. I definitely remember being treated better. It seemed like Monique didn’t want to help me. She was adamant that there were no rooms available. I’ll be back because I like the hotel and the area has plenty of restaurants. I’ll probably avoid Monique and allow someone else to check me in.

The moment I stepped into the hotel, it was not luxurious but warm, and I felt like I was home. The room was clean and spacious, the view on the 9th floor was super nice, it was very convenient to get to everywhere from the hotel, the service staff was warm and polite, and the security measures were in place. I will still book here next time

The hotel is newly renovated, the effect is very good, and the facilities are also very good. The staff is very polite and parking is 46 dollars/night. The surrounding environment is high-end, but if you eat nearby, you have to wait in line for a meal, which takes a long time.

This hotel had so many great reviews, but we have stayed here twice, and have had HORRIBLE experiences both times. We are globalists and used points to book. I booked online using the World of Hyatt app, where names of other people staying in the room are added to the ”notes”. I was staying with my aunt and uncle while my husband and mother in law stayed at another hotel where we also have points. Edward at the front desk was rude and unhelpful when my aunt and uncle arrived before me and attempted to check in. He accused them of lying and said he can't see notes on reservations from his computer, and told them that having their names in the notes section meant nothing anyway because ”anyone could hack in and add names.” They also had a printed copy of the reservation with them, so obviously they should have been allowed to check in. I tried to call from the car while driving to meet them, to let Edward know they should be on the reservation, but he wouldn't help and said I had to call some 800 number to have a rep add their names to reservation. Well, I was driving a rental car in traffic, so this was not possible! It felt like he was intentionally trying to make our experience inconvenient for some reason, which was so sad and disappointing. If he was trying to do everything he could to help, but unable, that would have been okay, but he was just unnecessarily RUDE and completely unapologetic or willing to do ANYTHING to try to help, which is why I'm writing this review, and it was also embarrassing for me as a globalist trying to let my family stay in my room with me. When I finally arrived to check in, my aunt and uncle were sitting on the curb outside because they said they felt uncomfortable in the lobby with Edward glaring at them. I checked us in, and Edward was still unapologetic and rude. We are usually upgraded as globalists, but we were not offered this either. The room was fine and clean at least. Also, globalists usually receive complementary parking, but when we checked out, we were charged for parking. I tried to call the customer service line, waiting on hold for 38 minutes before being hung up on. I also tried to use the live customer service chat through the app, but after 41 minutes, no one ever came online. I finally reached the hotel directly, and the general manager, Terry or Kerry? was rude and said the charges were valid unless the reservation was ”redemptive.” I wasn't sure what she meant by that, but I'm done with this hotel.

Great customer service by the shuttle drivers especially ! Especially our driver Issam! He goes out of his ways to ensure he settle rides for our daily hotel-office-hotel- Irvine spectrum- hotel + nearest airports trips! Always greeting us with a warm genuine smile. He is very thoughtful about our safety. He look out for the entire group of us. He is like a fatherly figure imho! He ensure that I am safe while I stay for 15 days at the hotel. He is passionate about his work and if my memory didnt failed me, he has been working for more than 20 years at the same hotel.! Such loyalty should be appreciated. Sad that I didn’t get to thank him properly before i left to fly back home. I hope to see you Issam the next time I come to LA in 2023, god willing.

I booked it for a friend, who said it was right. I stayed there for 2 nights and found the surrounding environment to be convenient.
The rooms are better than expected, all are comfortable, and the service is good. In terms of food, I only tried the breakfast, which was generally delicious.

This hotel is the closest to the Irvine Spectrum Center, which has tons of restaurants, a huge movie complex, shops galore, plenty of parking in several parking structures, easy access to the freeways. We stayed here June 2022 for 2 nights and we had a blast. The thing that made it super cool is the staff. In particular, Angelo in the front desk. We came in early and our suite was not yet ready. He gave us complementary access to amenities while we wait. Then he notified us when the suite was ready. For our troubles, which really was none because check in was at 4 pm and we came in at 1 pm, he gave us free breakfast for two. When we needed anything else, like toiletries, the staff and Angelo helped us quickly. We used the gym and it was bigger than most hotels offer, with several treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, machines, cold water, towels, sanitizers all around. It overlooks the swimming pool and those pools have private cabanas. When we wanted to eat in their garden one evening, the staff turned on the firepit for us to keep warm. The hotel was quiet, no noise whatsoever during our stay. We stayed here years ago and had a great experience then and it still continues to this day. Overall, our stay was awesome.

Excellent
GGuest UserWe stayed at Staybridge Suites in Irvine for 3 weeks when we moved into the area and it was everything we hoped for and more. The spacious rooms, full in-room kitchen, laundry room, pool, and other amenities all made our extended stay comfortable and pleasant. But the best part of our stay was the amazing staff that went above and beyond to solve any issue and make our stay even better. Jorge, Fara, Sandra, and all the other staff members - thank you for your hospitality and professionalism.
GGuest UserEnvironment: Suite, with entrance cabinet, partition cabinet, toilet and bathroom in two rooms. Spacious enough.
Facilities: Booked a room with sofa bed, there is a spare bedspread and blanket in the closet, and asked the front desk to add a set of bedding, which is equivalent to 2 beds including sofa, plus 2 large beds for a total of 4 beds, suitable for families with children.
The buffet breakfast is nothing new, but it is not bad.
Parking fee is charged, $19 a day, no one checks the entry and exit. At present, only hotels in California still charge parking fees.
The service is satisfactory and it is quite clean overall.
Lleyi-zhouAfter staying in an apartment hotel, I will choose such a hotel for more than a week. It looks simple, but there is enough space. The most important thing is to make something to eat by yourself. The hotel staff are very friendly. For personal reasons, they changed the room twice. They politely said that it is what we should do to make your stay here comfortable, which makes people feel very warm. There is breakfast, but unfortunately I haven't eaten it. Parking is convenient, and it costs 9 dollars a night.
GGuest UserI stay in roughly 70 hotels a year. I generally stay at Marriott‘s and never have any issues. One of my friends decided to book this room and stay at the Embassy suites in Orange, Irvine. We stayed in a different Hilton the day before. I was just as disappointed in both locations. Staff seems miserable. Not welcoming. We explained the issues we had at the previous location and the original lady at the front desk was trying to be pleasant. Then a manager came by, Sophia, she was very disrespectful and not very friendly to work with. I would expect better service from a reputable organization. Breakfast is served until 9 AM. So in the event that you are not an early riser you are SOL. I would recommend staying elsewhere and if Hilton sees this please retrain your managers especially Sophia and treating customers. I know I may not have an elite status with this hotel provider. However, I am a titanium member with Marriott. I will not be changing to Hilton anytime soon. I’ve made the decision that if I ever needed I would rather stay in my car than sleep in another Hilton. We also tried to explain and showed proof that they double charged us. They refuse to believe us even though our bank statements show otherwise. I will be submitting a chargeback with my credit card company as I refused to speak with another staff member at this horrid facility. Sophia, do not work in customer service if you do not know how to serve customers.
Aanthema2015I want to take a moment to applied this wonderful and almost hidden property here in Irvine California. My family and I have stayed at Hotel Irvine for the past five years during Fourth of July to keep our pets calm and relax. That is a lovely property (see my T.A. Review for our experience there as well...) and we were sad when we heard they were closed due to the health crisis that we hope will pass. When we arrived, we were greeted with authentic and happy staff members to check us in. This is always a great sign of a soon to be successful visit. We took care of the paperwork which took about one We arrived in the evening and we were greeted with big smiles from a very welcoming staff. Very wonderful first impression and it only took one or two minutes at the most to complete the paperwork and we were invited to our room. The room is clean and has the amenities for cooking with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, as well as dishes that made it seem like home right away. The bathroom was extremely clean and even we were treated with designer soap and shampoo that we never had it any other properties which might not seem like much, but it really is a nice touch to show that this organization invests in their guest’s stay. It is a unique time to travel in the world but my family and I just simply don’t really wear masks or anything like that because we are healthy and we stay out of public places for the most part. No one at the staff was pushing us to live or act a certain way, but they all had masks on and we’re very pleasant about what we have to do in this time. Just to clarify, we are not against wearing masks… We were just excited to leave our home and the fireworks behind and just walked in the building without them on because there were no signs to say otherwise. We were not met with any attitude to do anything different or so. We were just greeted with a warm welcome and the staff was pleasant at all hours of the day and night when we needed anything. There is an on-site laundry facility as well as generous snacks that one can pay for in a room that is adjacent to the wonderful gym that is accessible 24 hours a day and the staff will allow one or two members in the gym at a time. When a person finishes working out or training, they will close the gym until they clean it and make it welcoming for the next guest. This is a great touch and I used this wonderful gym that was more than accommodating. The reason why I am leaving this review is I’m still on the property and every time we go to walk our dogs outside, we meet a new staff member or just simply walked by someone we haven’t seen, and they are always smiling and checking on us and making us feel welcome. Any property can have the finest amenities and greatest location, all of these things are great… But this property has great people that take care of their guests and this is the best experience my family and I have invested in in our 10 years in California. We will
GGuest UserWhen I read the other reviews of this property they seemed to fall into two camps: Worst hotel I ever stayed at or First Class Hotel. I always wonder when I see that which are the true reviews. If my stay is indicative of the property, I would say 2 stars is probably a fair score. I will give you the positive and the negatives and try to be fair. Safety and Check in: When I checked in there were two police cars with the lights going in the lobby not letting people into the lobby while they discussed something with the check in people. So I am assuming the reviews that discuss vandalism of cars is probably correct. Cleanliness: The floor and the bed were clean. The bathtub and countertops were bad. The bathtub had mold in the caulking and several discolored patches. I did not use the shower in the two days I was there. The countertops were sticky. I ended up cleaning them myself (it was that bad). The towels ran the gamut from white to dingy gray. I recommend they switch to black towels because while they clearly started the same color they aren't the same color anymore and it makes them look less clean. Bugs: I did not see any bugs. Other reviews mentioned this, so this may be an old problem or in a different building / floor. Bed: Creaky but serviceable. The sheets were thin (If I was actually staying there as an extended stay, I would probably bring my own blanket) and appeared clean. Size: I stayed in a king ”Suite”. It was sized okay, smaller than a Hyatt Place room but bigger than a Motel 6. It had a small love seat facing a TV, room for the bed and a tiny kitchenette and bathroom. No desk area but I used the counter in the kitchen for using my laptop. Internet: Free internet but it gives you a ”This is only suitable for surfing the web, pay money to go 2.5x faster.” Other than about a 10 minute period, the free version was fast enough for me to play YouTube and a video game. Parking: It wasn't as bad as I feared. I was able to find a parking spot each time. Is this the hotel for you? I guess if you are staying somewhere for a month and are willing to clean the room and they give you a killer deal, maybe. Am I going to be staying there again? I stay in this area 2 days a week for business and unless it is the last room for 20 miles, I wont be staying here again. With one week notice there were plenty of nicer hotels at the same price close by. Recommendations for management: Instead of taking the time to write, ”We're sorry we didn't live up to your expectations, we take your concerns seriously,” spend some time working with the cleaning staff to supervise their work. If the property was clean, my guess is your score would go up one full point.
