It’s walking distance to several tourist spot and good food, such as Deen Cendol Corner. The hotel itself has directory map in the lobby to guide you which spot you need to go!
The only amenities they didn’t give is toothbrush and paste, so make sure bring yours.
Room is spacious, clean, bed is quite spacious with medium soft type mattress and pillow.
There’s a safety box deposit in room but unfortunately I got broken one on the battery side. Not so important if you don’t need to keep anything there.
Check-in and check-out process was smooth.

I was worried about Ipoh, a wasteland of global chain hotels, but I liked the better price, location, and clean facilities than I expected.
As everyone else, the purpose of visiting Ipoh was to visit Old Street and Lost World, so I didn't need the hotel's facilities, and I didn't use the breakfast.
Old Street and the night market were within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes),
and it took about 20 minutes to get to Lost World by car.
Parking is a drawback,
but even though I visited during a holiday, there was no difficulty in street parking, and there were plenty of spaces.
I think there was a parking lot used by the hotel itself nearby, but I didn't pay much attention to it because street parking was easy.
Please note that the deposit is Rm100 in cash.
