Everything was OK, expect the guests need to walk from this end to the other (like we did as our room was at the end of the block). Not sure whether there were other access to the first floor other than the lift at the lobby. Ok if it is for a short business trip within Meru area. The micro location is good as it is a stone throw from Mydin Mall and many other attractions in Meru area. The room was OK although some floor boards are peeling off already. The toilet was not really clean especially at shower area. The glass partition was stained and not properly cleaned. Overall experience was OK, cannot ask for more.

We booked 2 deluxe rooms from the hotel website for 1 night. It cost only RM150/night. Located at Meru, nearby Jelapang (Ipoh North) a new township. Hotel is owned by the State Government. Pros: - Value for money - Adequate room space - Modern amenities & fittings in the room - Package include drive thru movie for guests - Night vibes outside : Roundabout - Still considered new & well maintained -Staff are attentive - Lot of parking space but shared with the convention centre. Please note the parking space are open. Cons: - Location - not in central Ipoh where all the vibes - 10-15 mins drive to town or Ipoh Garden /Bercham / Tambun - No facilities - swimming pool The room package comes with breakfast which you have to pre-select from the choices available.

a great stay at Meru suites. huge rooms, friendly staff that will go the extra mile for a service for customers. great team, clean rooms as well. Quiet at night making it a wonderful stay.
Only downside is the location as it is situated a 15mins drive away from town, but for such a wonderful stay I would not mind to come back here again.

An Indian employee at the front desk does not wear masks, and other employees wear masks.
Book a window room, but give me a windowless room. Successfully asked for a room change, but there is a used towel hung in the toilet with a window room, which is disgusting! Very unhygienic! Called to the front desk, the front desk sent the Indian employee who didn't wear a mask to ask me. He went straight into the toilet without a mask to take the towel and asked him why he didn't wear a mask. He said that he had a toothache! You should wear a mask even if you have a toothache! Not abiding by the SOP.
So I dare to go out and worry about the new coronavirus, in case he gets infected! Because he sees different customers every day!
After returning for more than two hours, I turned on the air conditioner, opened the windows, and opened the toilet exhaust fan. I hope to be safe. I will take a bath in another half an hour. Damn it, spend MYR130+ to suffer!
The hotel is new and the rooms are also very new, but the toilets are actually unhygienic.

CCameo19Strategically located hotel, with access to the mall. The cultural sites are a short drive away. Ipoh is not really a pedestrian friendly city. Lovely roof top pool and bar. Friendly staff with professional concierge. Room was lovely, was given a corner room with a small side window, fortunately I was able to change it to a regular room with window. Bed and pillows were firm and super comfortable, was able to sleep well! Lovely bath tub, and bathroom. Breakfast was sufficient and dinner offers were really well priced and delicious.

AAneesnaMy family had an event in Travelodge Ipoh so we decided to check in hotel since my mother is on wheelchair.
Upon checking in, I didn’t assign with the wheelchair accessible room as per requested thru my booking but fortunately the hotel staff assigned us with the room near the elevator also gave us extra chair for my mother’s convenience.
Our room is big with sofa bed, clean and comfortable with someone on wheelchair. The toilet also nice and clean, complete with toiletries set.
The breakfast spread is quite delicious and varieties. The parking lot is limited if there is any event but enough for hotel guests.
Overall, it is an amazing staycation!

AAnonymous UserUpon check-in around 2.30pm the staff is trying his best to allocate the room and after 25 minutes he managed. We park our car outside on the street road infront of hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable (housekeeping done a Good Job!). In the evenings around 4pm we went out to had our late lunch and stop by FO counter and inform staff ( 1 girl staff ) get the Engineering staff to check my bathroom shower water pressure is so slow. When we reach our car I have caught to a surprise that I have been summoned by MBI !! ( I do not encounter that the FO staff told me to park inside as I only many cars parked outside and assumed we park outside!! When we came back around 5.30pm and I asked her if the water pressure has been done?.. she answered ( oh must do now ke) means this is not done!
The next morning breakfast was So/So!!
Salad Bar was terrible ( lettuce is not fresh - omelette only prepared with onions - cheese - mushroom) should the Chef consider to also have few others choices like capsicum (3 different )- spring onion.
Nasi Lemak ( Ikan Bilis is so tough - I believe that Ipoh is near to setiawan where can get good anchovies).
Outside at Veranda- the blind is just at the food counter side and how about the tables for guests? We left open without blinds and open to the sun and few guests run inside course of hot sun and they are with small kids.
Coffee machine was Off at 10.am and breakfast over at 10.30am..
Overall- the Head Chef should check the Food
Standard & Quality! This is important for the hotel reputations. Why we stayed at Impiana Hotel Ipoh?? Because it is only few Good Hotel in Ipoh and should be the same Standard as Impiana KLCC.
Please look into this and we may visit again in July for few nights.

BBNNLWe are staying at 207 family suite. While out from lift at 2nd floor was no aircon on the public area. The room shower room the hole for water release was slow. And socket was not enough for staying for 3 persons

GGuest Userwent here on early Feb 2023. I thought it was just a normal shop lot/budget hotel. However when i step in the lobby, i got shock with the interior & ambience, feels like in a 4 star hotel. The housekeeping staff name Hidayah really did a great job for do some room tour with us. she show us a few room type and explained every details & facilites in the hotel. the reception (Indian guy, cant remember his name) was very polite & helpful upon check in. This hotel has a live band every evening, free parking area for guest (but have to walk a bit), a nice and cozy restaurant & a small gym. the bed & pillow was so cozy, it has aircond & fan too! They provided USB charger as well in the room. The shower room was spacious and very clean. i would love to recomended this hotel to all if you all want to have a trip at IPOH!

AAnonymous UserMy experience about this hotel is that i will never forget the efficient service from all the staff starting from our check-in day.. The room is not so clean and needs to be improved. The thing that can be improved is the TV (upgrade ) and the corridor there needs to be vacuumed for cleaness. The breakfast area was soo good and there was lots of food variety.. We loved it and enjoyed the environment decoration with a classic Malay concept in the 1950~ .. And the last things before i forget to share please try the masala tea in the breakfast area this is for tea lovers..trust me!!! Superbbbbb!!! 👍🏼Overall is good..

JJ VeritasThe room is spacious n nice. The lobby is smelly, I guess partly because of the kitchen and bathroom (super smelly) nearby. There’s a strong odour the moment you enter into the lobby. I hope there will be more regular cleaning n perhaps putting some freshener might help. The staff are not friendly at all, you can enter and go out of the hotel without anybody noticing. Perhaps staff can be trained to smile more n acknowledge the guests.

AAnn TThe standard double room we had was very small with barely enough space on the floor for our bags. No wardrobe, just 3 hangers hanging over a counter. No drawers, just 2 side tables. No fridge but there was a safe. No coffee-making facilities but we were provided with 2 bottles of drinking water every day and there was a water dispenser near the lift for us to refill our bottles which was very appreciated. The room was clean and looked quite new. Comfortable bed. We like it that private parking is always available in the basement with a security guard (though he was absent from his post most of the time!) A lift is available in the basement to access the lobby and higher floors - we could only access our floor using our room access card - good security. A few restaurants and eateries nearby. Good for a short stay.

Hotel was repurposed from a old n dilapidated building. Internal industrial design added character. But the cleanliness wasn't up to mark. The room also smell of dank n sewer-ish smell and time.
Overall, for a 1 night driving stop over stay, it was adequate. But anymore would not suggest.
