Hotels Near Croods Cave Cafe in Ipoh

We booked 2 deluxe rooms from the hotel website for 1 night. It cost only RM150/night. Located at Meru, nearby Jelapang (Ipoh North) a new township. Hotel is owned by the State Government. Pros: - Value for money - Adequate room space - Modern amenities & fittings in the room - Package include drive thru movie for guests - Night vibes outside : Roundabout - Still considered new & well maintained -Staff are attentive - Lot of parking space but shared with the convention centre. Please note the parking space are open. Cons: - Location - not in central Ipoh where all the vibes - 10-15 mins drive to town or Ipoh Garden /Bercham / Tambun - No facilities - swimming pool The room package comes with breakfast which you have to pre-select from the choices available.

Everything was OK, expect the guests need to walk from this end to the other (like we did as our room was at the end of the block). Not sure whether there were other access to the first floor other than the lift at the lobby. Ok if it is for a short business trip within Meru area. The micro location is good as it is a stone throw from Mydin Mall and many other attractions in Meru area. The room was OK although some floor boards are peeling off already. The toilet was not really clean especially at shower area. The glass partition was stained and not properly cleaned. Overall experience was OK, cannot ask for more.

a great stay at Meru suites. huge rooms, friendly staff that will go the extra mile for a service for customers. great team, clean rooms as well. Quiet at night making it a wonderful stay. Only downside is the location as it is situated a 15mins drive away from town, but for such a wonderful stay I would not mind to come back here again.

An Indian employee at the front desk does not wear masks, and other employees wear masks. Book a window room, but give me a windowless room. Successfully asked for a room change, but there is a used towel hung in the toilet with a window room, which is disgusting! Very unhygienic! Called to the front desk, the front desk sent the Indian employee who didn't wear a mask to ask me. He went straight into the toilet without a mask to take the towel and asked him why he didn't wear a mask. He said that he had a toothache! You should wear a mask even if you have a toothache! Not abiding by the SOP. So I dare to go out and worry about the new coronavirus, in case he gets infected! Because he sees different customers every day! After returning for more than two hours, I turned on the air conditioner, opened the windows, and opened the toilet exhaust fan. I hope to be safe. I will take a bath in another half an hour. Damn it, spend MYR130+ to suffer! The hotel is new and the rooms are also very new, but the toilets are actually unhygienic.

We are regular traveller to Penang and recently we made it a point to break journey in Ipoh to make the journey less tiring and more enjoyable. For quite sometimes we have been staying at Casuarina Meru on our way back to KL. Then we found this Indra Hotel Boutique Suites and ever since we have been staying at this hotel to break journey. Indra Hotel Boutique Suites is located next to PLUS Highway exit Bercham if you are driving from the North. Tesco Ipoh is just opposite the hotel making it very convenient if you are coming during opening hours. It is a budget hotel nicely designed and quite comfortable. There are about 45 rooms in two floors. The room is well furnished with everything you need and the water pressure for taking shower is very powerful. Ironing is outside the room. There is drinking water, kettle for boiling water, telephone and safe deposit box. They also provide air cond and a fan. The bed is comfortable. There is one pillow for each person but you can ask for more. A cash deposit of RM50 is needed. There is no restaurant but a mamak restaurant is just opposite. Public Parking is available around the hotel and there a few lots reserved for customers on first come first serve basis. There is seats at the Lobby and a Table for 6 in case you have discussion. The rate is the best from RM130-200 depending on the room type. Counter service is OK just for check in and check out. It has been my second home now. Try it out the next time you are in Ipoh. When looking for hotel to book, the first criteria is location. This hotel is located away from down town and not too far away from down town. So, it is a rather quiet place. Very good. Next, was the offer of room rate, which is attractive. This pass. So, went ahead to book the dates of stay in Ipoh for this hotel. Upon arrive, the outlook of the hotel was rather impressive, very spacious lobby. When doing the check in, the front desk worker are foreigners. So, English and explanation is not very good. Even trying hard to explain in Bahasa Malaysia. Was told that there is no TV channels to watch. Reason given was the government has switched from analog to digital. So, the hotel were not equipped with the digital decoder. Well, this announcement has been made some time ago, and should be prepared to carry out the installation and testing. Not willing to spend money? Okay, without TV to watch is fine. Most ot the time would either be out and running about or just need the bed to sleep. When given the room key, it is the metal key. After getting into the lift to get to the room, the varendah on the floor was rather run down. There is self ironing service, where the ironing board cloth is rather burnt. Open the room door, and the room is rather musty. Uneven floor and torn and worn carpet. The windows are nailed and locked, therefore it could not be open. The window glass were tinted and the tint film is having blisters. Hence, not a clear view looking out from the room. The bed is okay. But the bathroom is very narrow and tight.The shower when turn on, will wet the toilet bowl and the wash basin. There is no cupboard, it is just a narrow spaced nailed together with planks to serve as a cupboard. Generally the room is very narrow too. Overall the room is very run down. There is no stool, no desk. So, have to use a bedside drawer to put the luggage and sitting on the bed to work with a very small and narrow coffee table. Wifi is very weak and intermittent.

Just check in room and the room no electricity and need to change room and is good been upgrade for delay changing romm

Everything is good . Brand new apartment . Just the washroom mayb can add on a shower curtain , water were splash evrywhere . & a floor mat if possible . Thanks
