My husband and I had a wonderful night away at Ness Walk. The glass of champagne on arrival, enjoyed from the tastefully decorated reception room overlooking the river was a lovely touch. The hotel is beautiful, staff so welcoming and attentive and everything done to help you relax from the moment you arrive. Our room was well appointed and luxurious. Delicious breakfast with an extensive menu choice. We will definitely be back to enjoy this wee oasis again! Thank you to all staff for making our visit so special!

Hotel is great and the stay was comfortable. It's quite convenient to walk to the bus station as well at the train station. The room is clean however the toilet shower doesn't has a door and the water slashes out causing whole toilet to become wet after shower. A previous reviewer was really down on the King's Club which is a newer adjunct to the older Kingsmill Hotel where the main dining room and bar are located. I'm not sure if we could both be reviewing the same place. First of all I found the staff very helpful and nor clueless as suggested. The rooms are quite nice and I really enjoyed the outdoor patio with the Inverness golf course only a few feet away. Watching and chatting with passing golfers and dog walkers was a bonus. The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom which had a separate bathtub & shower. The breakfast buffet was quite nice if not over the top and the fruit was not old as suggested and the eggs were not disgusting. In fact they were presented exactly as at the Gleneagles resort which is definitely five star. It was an easy fifteen minute walk into the heart of Inverness. Overall I would certainly recommend the King's Club.

We paid a ridiculous sum for two nights in this hotel and for the price breakfast wasn't even included, the swimming pool was small and on day 1 half if it was being used for private lessons and day 2 is was closed due to 'lack of chlorine' We booked because it had a pool. The menu was not very inspiring and we could hear other guests complaining loudly about the food so we got take out. The bar shut at 10.15 on friday night and two drinks was £15.00. The carpet had a stain which looked like a clean could have sorted and breakfast was cold, expensive and the orange juice was watered down and awful. The grout round the sink looked like it had been done by a 2 year old. To top it all the room was hot and there was some terrible noise from traffic and possibly an air conditioning unit or such like so despite the earplugs got very little sleep. Total waste of money! The only good points were the staff were not rude, and it had a jacuzzi and steam room when it was open.

Good breakfast, very helpful front desk staff, good beds and pillows, bathroom small but efficient. Toiletries minimal, but workable. Broken light fixed quickly. But the overriding issue was noise from neighbours, primarily due to thin walls. TV from one side early in the morning, and late night conversation on the other side. I don’t think they were unreasonable— just the sound insulation was poor.

Outstanding
First and foremost, Donna and Tom couldn’t have been better hosts and this review of their B&B is long overdue. My family and I traveled to Scotland in June to catch the first part of The Open, hang out in Edinburgh, and then head off into the Highlands. We moved around a lot during our adventure and toward the end of our trip found our way to Inverness. It turned out to be the hidden gem of our holiday. This was in no small part due to making the choice to stay at the Castle B&B. It was a fantastic location, had great accommodations, a lovely breakfast, and superb hosts. I think the greatest compliment we can give it was the unsolicited comment my youngest daughter made as we were getting ready to leave – “this has been my favorite place. I wish we could stay here longer.”
GGuest UserExcellent hostel! Great common self-catering facilities; there were two full kitchens with plenty of tables and seating so multiple parties could be cooking at a time. Staff were very helpful and let me leave my bag before check-in and after check-out to accommodate my bus times.
The room (4-bunk female dorm) was very spacious so plenty of room for sorting through my bags. Bunk was large and included a USB plug and power outlet there. Room had large attached shower and toilet rooms.
We just had our wedding at Lochardil House and it was fantastic. Rebekah and her brilliant team made our day with their excellent customer service . The food, facilities, garden, breakfast and room were excellent. The little details made it extra special. The delightful Highland coffee in the room was so good. The room was beautiful, comfy and sparkling clean, truly a wonderful place. Best day ever.
GGuest UserIt does the job but that's about it. We stayed 2 nights during our Isle of skye trip. The shared room was big enough for 4 people to move around but besides of 2 bunk beds there was absolutely nothing else in the room. A chair or two might have been great as when you are at the bottom bunk you can't sit on it as the top bunk is set to low. The beds were fairly comfortable but noise every time you moved. The bathrooms very supposedly cleaned but def weren't, the sign was just put up. The floors in the shower were dirty, only two hooks, so the chance of your stuff getting wet were pretty high. Also super annoying was the push and stop buttons in the shower, they turn of every 15 sec or so, it's annoying to take a shower. Same for the ”give it a good yank” in the toilets, most of the time the yank wasn't enough and the toilets didn't flush. The kitchen upstairs is small, we only stored something in the fridge but I wouldn't cook there as it's just waaaaay to small. The good thing is the location as it's right around the corner from the bus stop. If you simple need a place to stay overnight, I would say it's alright but still too expensive for what is offered.
This was a return trip to Inverness. We decided to stay with SYHA - what a great place to stay! Helpful staff, comfy beds, well equipped self cater kitchen. Yes it's a little bit of a walk from the middle of Inverness, but a very comfortable stay.
YYoungThe wifi was horrible. It didn’t work at all. The parking was impossible. We parked our car 5minutes walk away. The car park was full of cars already and Impossible to negotiate. The room wasn’t the same as online booking. A bit weird bathroom. Online We checked our room has a garden wide but there wasn’t a garden view. It was just blocked with narrow wall. The only thing that we liked was breakfast.

YYONGJust next to the Loch Ness Exhibition Hall, the parking space in the exhibition hall is the parking space of the hotel. Just stop and don't need money. You can park your car next to the hotel after 6pm. In fact, this is a motel, the room is upstairs (feeling is 2nd floor and a half, big luggage is hard to move, more fitness), no elevator, the room is large, there is a small bed, it is suitable for a family of three. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and breakfast is available at the first floor for breakfast. There is dinner on the 2nd floor, the price is cheap, the taste is ok.
SSenelaThe hotel is situated on the beautiful River Ness, opposite the castle. The exterior is beautiful, but the interior facilities in the room are a bit simple. There is a one-way street in front of the hotel and parking is not allowed, but there is a paid parking lot 200 meters away.
GGuest UserOk so it’s a hostel ! But in this day and age i expect it to be cleaned between the different parties staying here ! It’s more than just the bedding needs changed and cleaned regularly ! Ok guests please keep the kitchen clean and tidy well it didn’t happen and the mould in the fridge and the general cleanliness of shared areas left a lot to be desired !! Sorry regardless of it being our responsibility when clearly it’s not being done staff should be ensuring health and safety is paramount especially given the current climate We cleaned up after ourselves but unless we went in with scrubbers, bleach and steam cleaners it would take days to clean up the mess that was the kitchen I was in a room two singles and a double and not enough room leftover to swing a cat never mind put all our gear bags etc we were literally on top of each other There’s no shared sitting room or anywhere other than the kitchen to relax, converse or do anything really ! The bathroom was ok apart from the bath panel Hanging off oh and the mould around the bath/shower but it was hot !
DDADONGThe hotel benefits are 2 minutes walk from the train station. I have two large beds with a bathroom, and each bed sleeps big and small. No problem. There are also some cheap rooms that are common to the restroom. Breakfast is normal, the mainland breakfast is basically cold food, after eating and packing, it seems that only one person at the front desk waiter is on duty, and once I saw her returning from the outside to buy food. The hotel does not have a parking lot and parking is troublesome. In addition, there is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel, which is very good. The picture is a street view outside the hotel, within walking distance to major attractions and shops.
