"I originally planned to leave a 5-star review because the hotel itself has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. However, I ended up extremely disappointed due to something being stolen during housekeeping service. I travel frequently and stay in hotels often, so I’m usually very careful. This time, I didn’t bring many valuables with me, so I didn’t lock my suitcase when I went out. I had bought a few items from a drugstore and left them in the room. When I came back, one of the three packages was missing. I assume they didn’t take everything to avoid suspicion. I’m usually very cautious about housekeeping and potential loss of belongings, which is why I selected the “do not disturb / no cleaning” option. However, this hotel requires daily cleaning of the in-room hot spring bath. Since I booked a top-floor room with a private onsen, the front desk informed me that staff would still enter the room to clean it. I never expected that even opened, low-value cosmetics would be taken. The missing items were worth over $60. While it’s not a huge amount, it still feels very upsetting. The hotel itself is fine, but please be very careful with your belongings if you stay here. If you leave the room, make sure to take your valuables with you. The safe in the room is extremely small and cannot hold much. Overall, this experience was very disappointing."

The wine on the wine list included in the dinner includes a variety of Japanese and Western wines, and you can enjoy unlimited drinks. The breakfast offers a variety of juices and milk. You can also order unlimited meals. It can be said that the meals are satisfying and slightly acceptable. Stunning. The hotel's two large hot springs on the 9th floor do not need to make an appointment, and are open at any time. As long as no one can enter, no one can enter after entering. The rest of the time is a private hot spring moment, especially the open air. The sea view of the sea is beautiful, the sea view is invincible, and you can enjoy the sea view while enjoying the hot springs. Although the hotel does not provide pick-up service from the station to the hotel, you can reserve the service from the hotel to Ito Station upon check-out. On the day of departure, the service staff will take the initiative to ask the guests for the desired farewell time, that is, the guest wishes to make an appointment from the hotel. The departure time from Idong Station seems to be from 9:00 in the morning to 12 o'clock in the morning, every 30 minutes, the car is a small business car, and the ride is very comfortable. It can be said that this is a hotel that only needs to stay in, even if it does not leave the hotel for a day, it will not be boring, and it will be very recommended for the residents to enjoy during their stay."

"This is a century-old hotel with a real sense of history. Dinner and breakfast were decent, much like what you'd find at most onsen hotels, with the added local specialty of sea bream. The unique bathing experience here is thanks to the hotel's exclusive mountain elevator, which takes you to the highest point for panoramic views of the entire city."

"I came to Izu last year and again this year. After considering many factors like value for money, location proximity, and convenience to Mount Omuro, Jogasaki Coast, and Izukyu Shimoda, I still chose this hotel. Although the hotel looks a bit old from the outside and is run by elderly people, they are very spirited, healthy, speak excellent English, and are very polite. The rooms are also exceptionally clean. I absolutely love this hotel and have recommended it to every friend I know who is traveling to Japan! "This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready! If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!"

"I've always wanted to visit Izu, and after seeing recommendations online 🤔, I decided to check out this guesthouse. And it certainly didn't disappoint! 🫵 The owner is from Xi'an. After booking, you can message him on WeChat or email him to let him know your estimated arrival time in Izu. 👌 He'll personally pick you up from the station, and if you want to visit other attractions, he'll also drive you if he's available, saving you travel time. The guesthouse itself is beautiful 👏🏻, with a strong artistic vibe thanks to all the decorations. The proprietress is very talented 👍, and every corner of the room is stunningly decorated. I also have to praise the owner's cooking! 👍 If you're craving Xi'an specialties, you can ask the owner to cook for you. You can order à la carte or choose a guesthouse meal package (a heads-up: there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby) 😜. We booked breakfast and dinner (for breakfast, you can choose between Chinese or Western) ☺, and the owner's noodles are absolutely amazing 😋. If you want to try Xi'an noodles, you can ask the owner to cook them for you (he mentioned they mostly serve noodles for lunch) 👌. I usually don't have much of an appetite for breakfast, so the owner specially made me a big bowl of Qishan Saozi noodles 🍜. Oh my god 😋, the sour and spicy flavors immediately opened up my appetite! Thank you to the incredible owner for saving my Chinese stomach! 🙏 Oh, and in the evenings, the owner will also take you to nearby hot springs ♨. If you want to experience authentic local hot springs, you should definitely try it! ♨ The owners are very easygoing, and after two days, it felt like we were old friends. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Izu 🙂 and another taste of the owner's amazing Saozi noodles! 🍜"

"The newly opened hotel offers Chinese-speaking staff who are very friendly and welcoming! The environment is incredibly quiet! The rooms are cozy, and the beds are very comfortable! The bathrooms are clean and spacious, and the rooms offer views of the sea and mountains! The outdoor hot spring is especially wonderful—tranquil and peaceful. Soaking in the hot spring while listening to the birdsong is so relaxing! There's an Italian restaurant right next to the hotel, as well as some local cuisine! The food is excellent and highly recommended! There are also several other restaurants along the street, so dining should be very convenient! I booked a free pick-up and drop-off service from the station, and since it's not far, it arrived quickly! I wasn't late for my train/train! If I have the chance, I'll definitely come back again!"
