Located on the main highway into Canberra, Ibis Budget Hotel Canberra is a popular 75 room economy hotel at the gateway to Australia's capital city. It sits just minutes from the city and popular attractions like the Australian War Memorial. Each room features a flat screen TV, comfy beds for a great night sleep and a large on-site car park, as well as fast free WiFi throughout the building. Pet friendly accommodation hotel rooms are also available, allowing your whole family to stay together.
"Anything that could go wrong did go wrong!!! For a disabled room there was no power point near the bed. The only available power point in the room was in the bathroom. The air conditioning was manually powered and was positioned above the window so anyone in a wheelchair or that was short could not reach it. The only place to hang up your clothes was on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom was quite large but when I went to put the towel on the hanger it came apart!!!! And the top of the toilet was broken. Then I opened the fridge and it looked like a soda can had exploded and nobody had cleaned it. When I informed the staff member he was very lovely, he came in and cleaned the fridge, gave me a power board and extension cord for the bed which did help. But then in the morning the young staff member on took an hour and half to bring a toasted sandwich to my room after saying it would only be 10mins. He had clearly forgotten about it. So after such a bad experience I asked for my money back!!!!"

Within 2.5km from Canberra Vistors Centre, the motel makes an excellent base to explore the many attractions and sights that the National Capital has to offer. Many restaurants and other services can be found at nearby Watson and Dickson Shopping Centres.
"The friends we went to from the airport were very convenient. It would be great if we took a taxi directly. Then the front desk service was very friendly. We stayed in so many hotels and felt that the price performance of the hotel was very high. Recommended"
